I purchased the 3 piece combo and when I got home I noticed that the color of the chicken looked darker than usual…. One bite and I dumped the whole thing in the garbage. So disappointed and hangry now! Called and spoke to the Manager “Manwinder” who was not at all apologetic but defensive stating that they change the oil every day…. Told him that I was not looking for a refund but that this would be the last time I ever bought from this location…. So a warning to anyone thinking of purchasing chicken at this location…. Check the color of the chicken before leaving the store.
My family has gone here from time to time over the last few years, but sadly, since going there, the quality has dipped incredibly fast within the last year. If I could, I would give this place 0/5.I waited for wings and a pie behind what was about 5-7 people ahead of us ready to order or waiting to order with 4-6 people/groups after us. We only ordered 12 wings and a pie. It took nearly 20 mins. Everyone before AND after us got their order and left the location already.I told them that waiting this long was ridiculous. I didn't expect nor want compensation, but they didn't even offer an apology for the wait. The manager or supervisor only gave us an excuse as why they took so long, even after serving so many others.Severely and unapologetically disappointing for the customer service. We don't plan to come back here again. Popeye's offer faster and better customer service.
Great place! I really want to appreciate the service provided by staff. Harpreet, She was very active and energetic and had a very welcoming gesture. She was very good at her work and a good customer service representative.
Really misleading menu. I ordered the 12 piece bucket, with the reasonable assumption that there would be a variety of pieces. We got home: 100% thighs and legs. NO MENTION of "dark meat only" on the menu board. We were so disappointed and phoned the manager. Her response: yes, it is thighs and legs. Amazing. Churches, PLEASE put a variety of options on your menu boards, which will keep your customers happy. Not impressed. And the staff seem to be half-alive.Message to owner: please don't respond to this message like you respond to everyone else: thanking me for the review and telling me it helps you improve. Robot answers are not genuine.
Lots of upset reviews but i went there yesterday to have the $1 per chicken wing deal. The service was really fast. The chicken was nice and crunchy.The BBQ and honey mustard sauces weren't good but packet sauces never are anyways. If you can afford it, take the gravy. It's worth it.

Not as good as Popeye's... The fried chicken game is really heating up in the GVA. By no means is Church's bad, I just prefer Hi Five Chicken and Popeye's... The honey on top of the biscuits are good. Apple pie is deep fried and rather tasty. Chicken has a nice crusty finish. Juicy and tasty. Try it for yourself.
Just came today at 5:10 to get a skip order. The male indian guy at the front didn’t saw me but her CO-worker was their at the front as well and she did saw me. The male indian guy telling slowly to the girl that let the skip wait for the order and first serve the customer as the customer was with me and the order that i was suppose to pick was same. The girl told to the guy slowly that the skip guy means “me” is just behind him as their voice was clearly coming to me but the guy gave that order to the customer instead of handing over to me. Which is really bad and i waited 25 mins extra just because of that and i came first but served last. Is this how they are dealing with the skip drivers ??? Really bad experience. Will never pick the order of this store again.!!
The creamy jalapeno sauce is absolutely outstanding and no other place has anything like that. HOWEVER, I've been to Churches 5-6 times and every time I get stomach pains and diahrea the next day. Don't have that after any other fast food, just Churches. So I would recommend getting the sauce and buying chicken elsewhere. If you are feeling brave eat their chicken on Friday so that you can spend the next morning on the toilet. Trust me, having to deal with this at work is not fun!
Went here again tonight, staff barely put any fries into the 3 piece deal box. First time I've ever seen this in 10+ years going to Church's all over Vancouver. Last month they forgot my gravy. I used to go to Hastings /Nanaimo and Fraser st all the time and they never once had any issues. Owner: hire better people!!
