I came here on a Saturday afternoon and immediately thought “Ok, next time I’m going to come when it opens…!” Superbly popular and I managed to snag their last double baked chocolate almond croissant. Their desserts, pastries…all so delicious! I grabbed their Mont Blanc (also the last one), and it was not too sweet, and I can’t wait to have another! I also got their Spanish Latte as an afternoon pick me up with oat milk and it was so velvety and delicious! Hoping to make this place a monthly “treat yourself” spot!
Seriously the best Americano I have had in my life! I thought I got lucky with the first one I had a few weeks back, but today was just as outstanding.
All the baked goods were delicious and beautifully crafted. Hope to visit again soon to try out their chocolates.
Finally got to try out Chez Christophe in North Burnaby.Been looking for a place to get a small birthday cake and their Mango Chocolat just called out to me. Love that they come in different sizes. The one we got was for 4-5 servings (ie. perfect for the glutton I am).70% dark chocolate mousse, mango and passionfruit confit, mango and passionfruit curd, chocolate sponge and hazelnut crunch. Some might say it's a bit rich but I found it to still feel light. The hazelnut crunch on the bottom was a nice contrast to the otherwise creamy texture (would have loved it more if it was a bit thicker).
I just got this from a friend and i was so excited to eat it cuz i always wanted to try their chocolates!! But i was disappointed.... Matcha tastes great! But the oil!? Or oil from Almonds!? tastes old... i even can smell it when i open the bottle... i am sorry but i can Not finish the rest. It taste very bad?
We do annual holiday gifts for our clients, and this year we decided to go with Chez Christophe for portions of our gifts, and it has been a fantastic experience. Working with Christophe and Cara has been a great, professional, and thorough experience. From the perspective of wholesale/corporate gifting, these guys have done a stellar job and knocked it out of the park. I would wholeheartedly recommend them.
