After one night in my fridge, the hainan chicken was alredy smell bad and impossible to eat.
Giving 4 stars becoz other bubble waffle in both metrotown and Brentwood mall are just too bad......
Ordered bubble waffles here since was craving it. Slightly undercooked and not crispy. Also was super ugly and porous. Have never had such bad tasting and ugly bubblewaffle.Much prefer eggstatic downstairs one.

The most sincere and friendly owner I have ever seen in Burnaby. Heartwarming service and authentic Chinese/Asian food do exist at a food court. The portion is generous with very reasonable price. Good job!Their bubble waffle is also worth lots of credit - mean crisp with perfect sweetness, don't hesitate to try. I'd def come back.All the best ♥️
Crystal Mall bubble waffle is the worst among all the locations I’ve visited. Way too much batter and oil... it didn’t come out light or crispy, and the pieces were not hollow as they should be. The whole thing tastes like a deep fried soggy cake... didn’t even eat 1/3 of it and we threw it out. Even my 2 year old who normally loves bubble waffle wouldn’t eat it because it was so soggy!

2 stars because they gave us the wrong order and my food had gotten cold while waiting for the correct order for my friend. We always enjoy bubble waffle cafe but this location is odd because it doesn’t have small quail eggs in the noodle soups. Also surprised they dumped the incorrect order in the food court trash can right in front of customers.
Portions were good and the food tasted great. The service was quick and friendly. The best thing about the combo is you get a free drink. Would come back again.
I love their Hainanese chicken laksa combo which is served with Hong Kong style hot/cold drink. I always added a dollar for their fresh bubble waffle (extra wait time). This is my go to place for comfort food.
