Ordered a pesto pasta and a pesto cream pasta. Looking at the other reviews, it might've just been an off day for the chefs since the chicken breast, mushroom, and my pesto pasta was close to flavorless. We had to add a copious amount of salt; since the pastas were so bland, I have to give two stars.Would love to be proven wrong and give you guys more stars since the service provided by the staff was great. Cashier was super polite and washroom/store was very clean.
Not the best pasta in the world but for the price and amount it’s a great place to go. Also there is a make your own pasta options which is pretty nice.
Went twice this week already. Delicious pasta every time. Hot and order came out quick. Price is very reasonable as well. Keep up the good work and support local small business.
I love how you creat your own preferences.You can't go wrong with that.Taste so good .It's a big portion that i can only eat half of my plate and try their garluc bread.The price is very reasonable.
This place is an absolute delight. You won’t get better custom pasta for even close to this price, anywhere in the country. I have long been a satisfied customer and huge fan of Basil Pasta Bar on Davie downtown, now I found it’s sister on Kingsway in Burnaby (across from Central Park). FYI…the house salad is awesome too!!
Tried the lemon chicken fettuccine. What's nice is they use fresh herbs here so there was freshly sliced basil on my pasta with lots of cheese and chicken chunks. The portion is nice and big but not too big. Quite nice. It would be even more awesome if they made their own homemade pasta from scratch. Tasted pretty good otherwise.
This is my usual go to go place.Pasta here is excellent my baby loves it as well. Their pesto based sauce is a must try
By far my favourite place for affordable pasta. The linguini noodles (my favourite type of pasta) are always cooked to a tea - the perfect consistency of Al dente, as the Italians call it. My favourite sauce to order from here is the rose sauce with spice added to it. Every time I dine here, the staff are always welcoming, even though I can tell that they are busy. The girl working at the front of the restaurant is the sweetest! Since I am a regular customer, she always compliments my hair. Did I mention that they music they play in here is top tier? Basil Pasta Bar is my #1go to place to dine, but I find myself ordering it through Skip The Dishes as well, as sometimes I am a bit lazy, but either way, dine in or at home the food is always amazing. 10/10
Omg...one of the best pasta bars ever quick extremely great flavor and convenient! Staff are amazing especially with authentic quantity you're not going to want to pass up this opportunity to grab a bite...don't forget the G bread!!!
I ordered 2 times from this store. The first time, they sent me someone else's order which was completely different from what I ordered. The second time, they sent me pasta without the sauce. Can you imagine getting just boiled pasta and vegetables?! This was such a bad experience and I won't order from this restaurant now.
