Their spicy fish was wayyyyyyy too salty. The beef fried rice was ok but expensive for the amount of beef. We also had this chicken 干锅 and it wasn’t really like 干锅 and felt more like stewed chicken? Overall, I don’t think I want to eat at here again because pricing and also the taste isn’t as good anymore. I used to like this place many years ago but the taste is just really not the same anymore. Service isn’t good either because there is just one person for all the tables, maybe they didn’t expect so many people to dine in?

Food doesn't taste as good as it used to. Feels like they've changed the chef.
Everything we ate was delicious. Had a special of the day which had a whole chicken pork hock and abalone! It was very clean and warming. Very tasty.
First time here, so maybe we didn't order there star dishes. But what we had was mediocre.The good: nice and bright interior; decent service; options on the spicy level; the Hunan pickles were nice!The not so good: the spicy chicken rice noodle and wonton in hot sauce were both pretty bland tasting; the bowl used to serve the wontons was cold; the tea pot handle was dirty (we cleaned with our own alcohol wipe); at least one of the menu items had the wrong name in English.I think some of their other dishes must be good, as we overheard the next table saying how much they love the food here.
It looks nice inside, service is pretty good.Food taste is the only issue I found with this place. Could be an off night, but the food was not tastefull... Not "bad" just had little taste.I usually like Hunan.
Good flavours. We hadn’t been there for many years. Interior has been updated. Spice level is very variable, we used to order medium and we would love the heat but we ordered medium today and it was quite mild. We tacked on a shredded pork with green chilies and made sure we ordered spicy .. it was just right to get our spice fix. I love the sliced fish with Hunan pickles hot pot, cumin lamb, and the pickled long Beans with minced pork.
Was a regular here before COVID shutdown. Finally went back there recently and discovered they used the downtime to renovate and brighten up the interior. Good place to eat if u enjoy spicy foods. Seems like they get a lot of takeout based on the number of delivery drivers picking up. The noodles were not as flavourful as I had remembered but could've been just that day. Will definitely try again.
This place is clean and offers a lot of variety of foods. Nothing special though the food is just okay and a little overpriced. Service was excellent and parking can be an issue if you miss out on the five available spots in the back.
Definitely one of my favourite restaurants. Every dish is so flavourful; just make sure to ask for less salt if you’re not used to dining out frequently or heavy flavours.Their recent renovation is also an added bonus and the place is bright and white.
