Restaurant itself is one of the nicest layed out a&w I've ever been in. Little touches like the hand wash station by the tray return.. Nice touch! Counter person was great, frosty mugs are always appreciated too. The best Burger Ever burger was very disappointing though. The patty was good, the onions were fine, but nothing really sung. It was flat tasting. Done lettuce and tomatoes would have added some colour and crunch, and the sauce really didn't do much in there. A regular teen burger would have been better even from their stable of burgers.
Ordered the all Canadian breakfast. All I can assume is they did not have sausage links, and therefore gave out a sausage patty. If you do not have what is advertised, ask your customer if it is okay to switch the item.I would not have gotten this breakfast if I had known what I was actually going to get. Also, I asked for brown bread and I got white.Low on staff for a busy Saturday morning. The food I ate was warm and fresh.
29 may 2022 night 2.12 am came to pick up my food and I requested to girls want to use the restroom but she refused in so rudely. Did expect from big food corporations company. Worst service
Nice that it is 24 hrs. Not too many places to eat in NW that are open late. They do limit seating in the late hours, and close the washrooms in the late hours. Otherwise, great for a late dinner. ?
The missus and I have been to this location twice over two weekends. I don't expect the staff to be all cheery but the cashier acted like she didn't want to be there. There was no synergy with the cashier and the girl preparing the food. I ordered an Uncle Burger combo with cheese and bacon and of course, when it came, it had no cheese or bacon. The cashier gave me a piece of cheese and some bacon in a bag with a zombie look. Not to make a fuss as we understand people can have bad days, we didn't complain any further. But having bad customer service twice may not be a coincidence. We will probably visit the A&W on Marine Drive & Glenlyon Parkway the next time as it's customer's service is far better.
Ordered a teen burger meal with no tomatoes, no cheese and add grilled onions. The only part of the order they got right was no tomatoes. I had to scrape the melted cheese off the burger with a knife and there was also no grilled onions on the burger. Ontop of that I ordered a honey mustard on the side, which was 25 cents, and when I got home I realized they put sweet and sour sauce in the bag instead. Overall terrible experience for a regular AnW customer. Go to other locations. Also there is no drive thru.
Nice and new store but lack of staffing. It took more than 10 minutes to get 1 coffee and a hash brown. It wasn't fault of the worker as she was doing her best but seems like the franchisee is cutting cost by having less number of employees. It was my 2nd experience of long wait at this location.Next time I will go to the one few blocks away on Kingsway as they are quick and sufficiently staffed.Sometimes cost cutting leads to loss of customers if service isn't delivered in time. Either way business losses revenue.
Food is good but they don’t have enough staff for weekends. Just two little girls working and trying to keep up with the orders. I got my All Canadian order after 45 minutes
I know it is 'just' fast food but it tasted fresh and tasty. One other thing, the staff thanked each customer as they handed out their orders. Frankly I notice this as a regular theme at A and W locations. Must be good training. 2 thumbs up on food and service.
Doesn't have Chai Latte despite the menu on the wall having it and having the machine that makes it. Not sure if they need to update things or not but it's confusing and disappointing. Food is good as always though hence 3 stars.
