Very expensive. Take the cod and chips only. If you take halibut and chips you will pay almost $24. Very hard to find something nice and reasonable for a senior. Then only order water. You can buy a 6-pack of pop for the price of one drink at this place. At least the service was good and I would assume they pay their staff well. ?
My experience here was amazing. I had the sweetest server, I believe his name was Quinn. He took the time to ask how everything was and was so patient. He had the most contagious smile, and he was always so polite and happy whenever he spoke to customers. If I were this guys boss, I would give him a raise!
I ordered through Skip and due to a Skip error ended up getting an item that I couldn’t even eat due to dietary restrictions. I called White Spot and spoke to Barb, one of the manager, to see if I could somehow exchange it or if maybe the menu had changed. She confirmed my order and is now on her way to personally drop off the correct item. I am thoroughly impressed with this customer service and very much appreciate Barb for willingly coming to drop it off. After a long day, this extra kindness made my day.
Had a meal there about a month ago, and it was fantastic! Steak frites and crispy Brussel sprouts. The sprouts were small, cut in halves and extremely tender and delicious. It was so good that I made a point of going back today and having the same meal. This time the steak frites was good, but the sprouts were huge, whole and rock hard raw. (Could have gotten the same thing by grabbing some sprouts at the grocery store and burning the outer layer with a cigarette lighter.)I told the waitress, and she asked if I wanted another one, and I said no just take them off of my bill. (I know from experience that if a restaurant serves you something like this it's unlikely the second one will be better -just asking to be disappointed again.)Now, this could have turned out less disappointing if the waitress had shown at least a modicum of remorse - I know the servers don't cook the food, but they are the contact between the kitchen and the customer, and even a very basic "sorry about that" goes a long way to smoothing things over (at least for me). No apology was given at any point.Next time I'll go to MacDonalds. Much cheaper and you always know what you'll get.
Great food and I even have a pickie eater and he loved the kids macaroni so thanks to the chef great job. Also love the coleslaw yum yum. All around awesome meals again thank you.
The food was great, from the time we sat down till we got our meal was way to long and then to get the bill was even longer It may have been overwhelming for staff as it got real busy and they may have been under staffed. But communication was lacking on there behalf.
For my first time experiencing happy hour, I was not given any added value as is the premise of having a happy hour. My drinks and appetizers we’re proportionately smaller very considerable to their price. They advertised happy hour that six dollar dish was regular nine dollars, but when the dish arrived it was a third perhaps even a half smaller than its original Entre
Food was okay because it wasnt very flavorful but it was okay, service was okay and looked to be understaffed and put server was grest but you can tell he was busy.
Wow, what a find! This is a MUST for breakfast folks...the service, cleanliness, menu options, and value are all great. However, the food steals the show, hands down! I couldn't get over how fantastic their 'smashbrown' potatoes. They were crispy and salty and warm and unlike any hashbrown-type experience I've ever had, and I could easily eat a plate of these by themselves. Plus, you can substitute your toast for waffles! And as if that isn't awesome in itself you get whipped butter & warm syrup. White Spot is too much. The eggs, sausage, and coffee were all flawless as well leaving no room for improvement in my eyes (and taste buds). Please don't change a thing! I was in BC for 4 days and ate here twice. Will definitely be making a point of visiting again the next time I'm in province. Keep the excellent work, 5 Stars, Highly Recommend :D
Food was good, but service wasn't the greatest. We were seated at the end, where rarely any servers went by. So we spent a majority of the time trying to get their attention, because of forgotten items and top ups.
