I have no idea how this place could get 4.6 stars its definately not on that level 3 stars at very most, i went yesterday based on reviews and it was a mistake i won't go again. Sorry
Big portion, delicious FRESH thick cut sashimi/sushi, good tempura too. And what else? Reasonable pricing for top notch quality, they make your food right away, so it tastes even better. Can’t find a better sushi place than this in Abbotsford!
Living in East Abby, this is a little bit out of the way but it’s always justified. Lots of Japanese places close Monday and these guys were the only ones open and worthy of making a trip out.And to emphasize, totally worth it.Food is plentiful with reasonable pricing. Great people working there and had great service. All the necessary check marks to stand out from the umpteen billions of Japanese restaurants in abbotsford and it nails it.Wherever you live, stop in and treat yourself!
The salmon sashimi was farmed, and this kind of fish isn't healthy for sashimi, nor does it taste good in this form. It's very fatty and has a strong flavor that isn't pleasant.The tuna sashimi was from frozen, and had a watery flavor that is from ice crystals forming in the flesh and then unthawing. Tuna shouldn't be done this way for sashimi and it wasn't enjoyable at all.The roll we had was okay, but overall we didn't like the food here and wouldn't go again.I honestly hate leaving bad reviews, but I'm also hopeful that instead of seeing this as a bad thing, that the owner would do better next time and in this way make customers happy so they leave good reviews.Good luck!
I ordered a Chicken Teriyaki Roll, a Kappa Roll, an order of Spring Rolls, and a side order of Miso Soup. Everything was great but the seaweed on the outside of my kappa roll tasted a little off, and the miso didn’t have any tofu. Other than that it was great and I would order again just not the kappa roll.

Sushi box is the BEST! The gyoza is the best I’ve ever had ? always so incredibly friendly every time I go in, such pleasant experiences! I’ve been to most sushi places in abby and this one hits out of the park, no comparison. My friends drive out from Langley to go here! Please support these lovely people and their quaint business

Bought take out for 10 since restaurants limit numbers at tables. Everything was delicious! Large portions. Friendly staff. Highly recommended.
