Our server was pretty good. She was hilarious and friendly and on the ball for the most part. However we called a few days ahead and they would not take a reso for a Friday even though we had 9 people coming which is super frustrating. Also half of us were generally unimpressed with our food and we got several different items. I got fish tacos which came with ground fish...never seen that before and didn't taste good at all. I ate a whole one out of 2 only because I was really hungry. I think it should say on the menu that the fish is ground. If I knew that I wouldn't have ordered it because it sounds as weird as it is. So I guess the menu is hit and miss.
Sat outside. Was really good except the kindness of one, graced us all with a smoky taste to our food from his smoke. Service saved the day. 2nd visit was great. Service was awesome.

8 of us went for drinks and appetizers last night and had a great night. The drinks were good and we also had a couple of bottles of wine and yummy food. Our server Amber made it fun too. We would highly recommend you going there.
Calamari was a tad under done and slightly fishy?, the tzadziki lacked garlic and the beef dip was ok, the meat was very tough, and fell apart too easily, should have been cut in half in the kitchen, the fries were not good at all, over blanched and dry… needs more craft beer, service was great, very friendly too, I’d still recommend going, just don’t expect much, sadly one of the better chain restaurants, although when have chain restaurants ever put a city on the map?? Never
Service was poor despite the restaurant being almost empty. Food was mediocre but fine. We won’t be coming back here again.
We had dinner at this restaurant tonight and I ordered the fish tacos, however it was mostly lettuce and the fish was stale and tasted like rubbery chicken. I mentioned this to the waitress and she apologized and offered to substitute shrimp to only later find out we were charged an additional $5.25 for the shrimp, on top of that we never received the discount for the "Monday fish tacos special" Overall just wasn't satisfied with the food quality and customer service.
Best service around! No matter when you go day or night, the waitresses have been nothing more than exceptional! We've never had a bad meal here! I can't recommend just one thing, it's all good! :-)
I've had 3 expierences here. 2 were through doordash. They were decent then. But I just went tonight in person for the first time. I got the beef dip and my partner got the fish tacos.The beef dip was gross. It was overly sweet. Meat wasn't good quality. Fries were inedible.Fish tacos had a lettuce boat and then they added lettuce as a filling as well. The Maui Maui tasted like they put taco seasoning on it.I walked across the street and then vomited it up. Horrid expierence.
I was in search of a hot dog and google maps showed me a review of original joes so I went.They stopped hot dogs three years ago. I decided on a poutine and a beer.I had better poutine at dq and burger king. Not worth 15 bucks.I liked the atmosphere and the man sized napkins.
