Use to love this place but has definitely gone downhill. Can now only order twice for all you can eat. Food was not hot and portions tiny considering you can only order twice. As for the service it was the first time in my life that if I had been paying the bill myself I would have left no tip at all. Slow as molasses I think their faces would crack if the smiled.

I gotta tell you this place is fantastic. If you want sushi on a budget it is incredible you cannot go wrong with this place. The fish is always quality the sashimi is some of the most buttery I've ever had. There are more expensive sushi restaurants in town that have less menu quality then this places buffet line up. I generally don't recommend ordering off of the menu just go straight for the all you can eat its fantastic food upstanding service and you're supporting a local business decades in the making. Great for kids too especially if you're trying to introduce fish to them you can't go wrong with midori, and oh boy is the sake good

Extremely slow service, food mainly always lukewarm or cold, and service quality has gone downhill. Waited 20 min for the rest of our all you can eat order and didn’t even get our miso soup.Honestly, won’t come back if I can help it. I know places get busy but it wasn’t even that busy…. Other sushi places in Abby are better and worth the money in my opinion .

terrible service even though there were only two other tables with customers at the time. ,I asked the non-asian waitress for more tea and didn't receive it until 20 mins later, our miso soup never came and had asked the waitress 4 times for it.. was ignored by her and not served in a timely fashion.. sashimi is half the size of a sugar cube and getting very stingy compared to pre covid. quite unfortunate as it used to be my go to restaurant. Will be searching elsewhere in the future, the all you can eat is a terrible time consuming event.. and super small portions... I'm deeply saddened

The food is great, but if you tend to get cold in restaurants make sure that you bring a sweater it can get cool in there.

We had high hopes for this place because I called to see if they had a limit on tuna/salmon sashimi. They said no but when we sat down, we noticed that you could only order 2 orders/person (3 pieces in an order). We decided to stay and ordered the maximum amount of sashimi but when it came out, the pieces were no bigger than a nickel. Very disappointing. Service was ok and the rest of the food was mediocre. Will not be going back again.

As someone else mentioned I do believe you should be realistic about all you can eat sushi. I often go here, and most of the time it's great, sometimes it's just good, but for the price, it can't be beat. I really don't know why you'd go anywhere else if you have a taste for Japanese food in general.

Jan 2022 update...A rude manager unfortunately removed my 4 star rating down to a 2 star. We were accused by the manager today of feeding our daughter sushi. She has never eaten sushi and we always take her to subway just before our sushi lunch. Today she wanted to sniff some of the "green paste", wasabi, so I took a dab and put it near her nose. Moments later were were accused of feeding our daughter food. We politely said we come here three times a month and have never given her any sushi at any time. They responded by taking forever to bring out any orders in a "punishment" style of so called feeding her while not paying for it...Me, my wife little girl have been eating here for 3 years on the regular, but the lady manager is always out back. After waiting 30 minutes for one order of tempura we just got up, paid our bill at the till, shook my head at her and said nothing. This review will help others choose where to go for a pleasent meal. Sorry to have to write this but this is what reviews are for.Shane Colebourne

Wonderful eatery!! The food is always fantastic, and the staff are welcoming and kind. 10/10 recommended restaurant for a quaint dining experience. Don't miss out!

First time I brought my kids to Abbotsford and we decided to have a buffet in this Japanese restaurant. Customers can only make 2 orders. We waited for more than 15 minutes then got the sushi cones and sushi rolls with (a lot of rice) but small pieces of ingredients. The tempura came with (large pieces of fried flour) that we had to look for the ingredients.Only three pieces of sushimi can be ordered for each person (with a maximum of 2 orders). The staff chopped the sushimi into (little pieces),a normal size of a piece of sushimi into 4 pieces.Horrible! We just felt like we were being scammed. The owner is so stingy that customers mostly get rice and fried flour.Avoid this restaurant!
