Ordered through door dash. 2 missing items from Box A with Beef. 1st, on the website it says it comes with a sunomono salad, when I called the store they said it didn't. 2nd, I ordered a Box A with Beef and instead it came with Chicken. In that same call with the the store they offered me a credit but no way to actually confirm that I would get a credit next time I ordered. Over all was dissatisfied with the quality of the food. It wasn't terrible but not worth the price. Tasted more like sushi you would get from a food court in the mall.
Sad it is under new Management, It is definitely not the same place as before. You can taste the change in the food quality is different. Also too many odd items added to the menu for what used to be a great sushi restaurant. Sadly we have had to move on and find a new place now. Will miss the original Maru Sushi it was our favorite.Edit: went back to give another chance and it’s back to being the place I remember and loved. Such great news because we tried a few other places and they didn’t compare.
Best sushi in Abbotsford. Beautiful inside and staff are friendly and fast. Can't get better service around town
My wife and I went to this restaurant for the first time tonight. Although it is a 'sushi' restaurant we were drawn by the advertisement that in addition to Japanese food they had homemade Italian pasta ! I had a magnificent lasagna with a light rose meat sauce and my wife had gnocchi which she said was divine. The pasta I had was indeed homemade and the lasagna, a favorite of mine was probably the best I had ever had ! The decor and atmosphere was perfect as was the friendly service. We can't recommend this little restaurant highly enough and you certainly will not be disappointed if you go.

This ambient, cozy restaurant recently added Italian cuisine to the menu. My mom and I were warmly welcomed by the staff when we went in. We ordered the Linguini ai Frutti di Mare and the Linguini Soul along with some sashimi and wow, we were blown away. The fresh quality of the ingredients were top notch and the portions, especially the seafood in the pasta, were quite generous. Along with some white wine, it was the perfect meal. Go support this local business!
Decent sushi, very slow service. We ordered a couple dinner boxes. They're definitely on the higher end of what local prices are, but you get a lot of food with it. The food was quite nice and fresh and delicous. I'm not sure why the service was so slow. It took 15 minutes to take our food order and over 30 minutes to get our bill after the server saw we were finished eating. The kitchen staff was fast, but the waiting staff needs to get their act together. There were two other tables in the restaurant and no take out orders seen. We weren't in a rush, but the slow service definitely took away from the experience. One table got up and left before the server came to take their order because they waited so long. .
Beautiful place, good food, relaxing atmosphere. I like that you can get japanese food and Italian food. Rissoto came out nice and hot. The nigiri was nice and fresh.
This is my new favourite restaurant! The new menu has a selection of Asian and Italian cuisine. Pasta is made fresh, in house. Any of the risottos are fabulous! I love the warm and inviting decor and the service is friendly and professional. We will be going back often!!
