Terrible customer service, poor quality of food, bland, stale tasting spring rolls which two of us had to spit out after taking a bite. Ordered a large order for Mother’s Day 2022 and was told it would be ready and delivered in 1 hour 20mins. After 90 minutes of waiting we called the restaurant back and we’re told the food was ready and they were waiting for a driver to deliver it. They said it would be out to us within 10 minutes. We called the restaurant back and said we would just come pick it up and we were not paying full price so they offered us a small discount on our large order.Once we picked up our order it was barely warm and we assumed it had been sitting there awhile waiting. We opened our order and it just did not look appetizing at all but at this point we were starving and had small children to feed. If I could give negative stars I would but 1 star will have to suffice. Won’t be ordering from here again, terrible customer service from all the staff we spoke to, gross food and no taste.
We made a very large order for mother's Day (which was very expensive) and they quoted an hour and 20 minutes for delivery (which is fine since the order was big) but we asked "if we pick it up will it be sooner". The girl said no. So we left it at that. Fast forward almost 2 hours and we still had no food. We call and the girl says "the delivery driver is not here to get your food yet". Then she tells me she will call me back when she checks into where he is. I get no call back. So I call back and a guy answers. He has no clue what was discussed previously and tells me "your food is almost ready" then I tell him the other girl told me it was ready but waiting to be delivered. He just says "oh" and so I get mad at this point and tell him we have two small kids waiting for the food and that there is no way we are paying full price at this point. So my mom/sister go to get the food. They get there and they tell them "the food just came up" when in reality it was likely sitting there for 45 mins at this point. So we get the Luke warm food home and find that our pork fried rice we ordered is actually Shrimp. We have people in our house who are allergic. My mom called back to speak to the manager and tell them this is unacceptable and she would like a refund after all the issues. The manager yells at her and says "I called my lawyer, you can sue me". This is disgusting service. I worked in the food industry for nearly 10 years and that is unacceptable customer service. So needless to say word of mouth is a dangerous thing and trust me we will be spreading our experience with others!
The worst Chinese food I have ever tasted or to be correct, not tasted. Absolutely bland, no flavour, from the wonton soup to the chow mein, and fried rice. Has to be covered in soy sauce. To top it all off they said 1 hour and the food finally arrived almost 2 hours later with apologies from the driver. Should have read the recent reviews and believe them. The owner/cook obviously doesn't read them and they don't seem to care.
Just ordered a wonton with noodle, and it is by far the most bland soup I have ever tasted.
Never had a bad dish here . Wonton soup & salt and pepper prawns is a good choice . The family that owns the business are doing an excellent job and I respect them ?
Have been ordering from them for years and the food has always been amazing food.today I ordered and it was cold, the rice was hard you could not eat it.the chicken had a funny smell and the sweet and sour was tough. I called to complain an she was very rude to me she would not correct anything. I willnever order from then again.
Excellent , everything was hot, delicious, fresh, good prices. Best Chinese food in Abbotsford. Our new go to place, hands down . Usally ready in 20 minutes . Family run .Thank you, highly recommend it. 5*
The only good thing I can say is that their deep fried food is their best product. Chicken fried rice is not supposed to be served as white ( no colour) long grain Basmati rice. Chow Mein is supposed to be seasoned, not simply steamed which ends up being served dry at the point of consumption. The ginger beef was really tasteless and served in was I could only describe as a beef water bath?! I have reason to believe that the owners have no idea what Chinese food should be like.
Best part of hole meal ginger beef. The deep fried prawns were great too. Both combination were bland thank goodness for soya sauce and S&P ( which I had to supply more). In my one picture you can see two packages of soya sauce and that all they supplied? Sadly the combination NEED more than that. Or did they pack any forks or chopsticks this was takeout! Our takeout was fast so that a positive. And portions size was great too for price. I did like the container that the meal came in as well.
Very very rude customer service. If the owner is viewing please consider this review and follow up with the lady that was working on the date this review got posted. Rest food and presentation is good.
