My first visit was today. Best Mexican food I had eaten outside of Mexico!I had the fish & shrimp quesadillas's and they were excellent! I topped them with #3 hot sauce which was just spicy enough to use lots of it. Next time I will try #4 and keep moving up until I hit the perfect level of heat. The service was fast and friendly, and music was great. I will definitely be back!
Finally, authentic Mexican cuisine in Abbotsford! Anna and the super friendly staff will make your experience wonderful. Crisp, not greasy Chimichangas. Amazing Chipotle Shrimp. Authentic street tacos. This is not Taco Bell. Affordable cocktails as well. Definitely worth checking out.
Great little dive on the side of the street. The moment we walked in we were greeted and seated right away. I think this place is a hidden gem that I would recommend for all ages. Especially their tacos has an amazing zesty kick to it. It really took me back to the time I was in nor-cal. All around amazing. Kudos to the chef. Extra shout out to the overwhelming friendly service.
One of our favourite places to go in Abbotsford! Every server we have had has been a delight. Their tacos are to die for, as are their homemade hot sauces! Each hot sauce is so unique - it's hard to pick a favourite. The cocktails are also delicious! We have quickly become regulars ?
Birria Tacos! That should say enough but, for those who are not in the know... Here's some pics ?.Everything else was perfect tasting. These Fookin Tacos tho ? .I'll be back to terminate some more and I'm bringing back up ??.P.S.. the Jello shooters were Sooo good ??
If you are looking for authentic, this is not the place to go.We didn't have high expectations going into it because of reviews. The Carne Asada was under cooked and not at all how traditional Carne Asada is done..this was more like your typical steak, not all what would be considered "Authentic Mexican", as goes for the Birria Tacos, which had very little to be desired. There really are no other words for just how awful the food was and how steep the prices are for such subpar food. The only positive was the service from our server. It does not sound like this is the first or last time there has been complaints.
This place is just full of awesomeness! The staff is so friendly and nice and the owner Russ is beyond generous. Our drinks were forgotten with DoorDash and I called and let the owner know and he immediately apologized and offered to drive it to me in mission, I declined as it was quite a distance for a pop, so he gave me a gift card and we got free pop from Anna when we came in again. The food is AMAZING! We will def be coming back for more!
Is this authentic Mexican food? I couldn’t tell you, I doubt it, but it’s all made in-house, and that’s golden, I got the spicy burrito… it wasn’t spicy at all, it was all fresh ingredients made in-house so it was quality for sure, although it needed some fire for sure, I wouldn’t rave about this place but the apple pie tacos were absolutely incredible! Like most restaurants, they are over taxed and leases so high they are lucky to keep their doors open, hence the heavy price, my wife and I racked up $90. Ish dollars with tip for two, that was a bit steep in my opinion but given the cost of living it’s a given, I’d recommend this place for sure but don’t expect to be blown away until you try the desert, I’m going back when they have happy hour for sure.
Food was high quality and delicious. Our server was friendly and we enjoyed the music and ambiance. They have lots of margaritas of course and they have Jarritos sodas as well. Only downside was that two people finished their meals by the time the fourth and fifth person finally got their food.
Had the best service tonight. She was super friendly and attentive but not bugging us. Know what I mean. Food was very good. First time in a while I have had good fajitas. Pina colada was good and check out this awesome drink a Champagnerita. Delicious. We will be back. Hope there is a summertime patio.
