Great portion sizes and consistent food. If you like the stereotypical experience at a local Japanese restaurant, you'll get a very good one here. I can't have white rice so I'm limited to brown rice. They're brown rice has now become so expensive per roll that I can no longer eat here (we were once-a-month regulars). They also charge for gluten-free soy sauce. So this restaurant is only good if you don't have any allergies or sensitivities.
Sadly disappointed. Ordered gyoza and we bit into them, it was like biting into a rock as they were frozen on the inside. We sent them back and they simply rebattered them and then fried over the existing. It was like they weren’t surprised as they didn’t apologize or offer money off the bill. Then they were extremely crunchy and poor taste. Usually gyoza isn’t fried like tempura. We also ordered a few sushi rolls, tempura, fish. There was a hair in our water too unfortunately. The woman taking our order didn’t even look at us, said maybe one word, came off very rude. So badly wanted to like this place but we are both feeling nauseous after eating here.
One of my favourite places to eat sushi at in Abbotsford. I would come here all the time after school or during lunch hours, sometimes for dinner with friends and family. Dining in and take out quality is great, and they have very friendly staff! I personally find other sushi restaurants to have terrible quality in the rice, but here it’s perfect for me!
The worst restaurant experience I've ever had. We are regulars here and they were very kind initially, but after the day we asked to omit a mayonnaise sauce from a fried noodle dish, the service was extremely rude. The last time we just thought they were having a bad day but this time it was clear, the owner was glaring at us from the moment we stepped in, and they came with the payment machine and started cleaning our table while we were still eating. We also asked for cheese on top of our tteokbokki, which was never an issue before, but this time they charged us 3$ for a piece of kraft cheese or a sprinkle of shredded cheese. If you want good service here, don't ask for any changes. Will never come back here with friends or family ever again.
This has always been my go to sushi place in Abbotsford for 5+ years. The last few times we have had it and been disappointed. Tastes fishy/just off.Paying extra for cream cheese means you actually want cream cheese.when you order gyoza, you want gyoza and not tempura.
Paid extra for the live boat for 2. Sat us next to pickup area. Every couple minutes disturbed. Love boat came on a plate. Not what I wanted. The presentation terrible and servers when asked just. Shrug. Last time here for this long term customer
We have been going to Ebisu for many years. The staff have always been friendly and the sushi is delicious and not over priced.
Without a doubt the best sushi in Abbotsford. Always fresh, fast and delicious ?
Missing item on my order and just said sorry but call skip the dishes for a refund. They do not deliver and did offer any kind of gesture of actually being sorry from the restaurant itself. Poor customer service in my mind. I recieved a refund of the cost of the item from skip the dishes and placed an order for the item from a different restaurant. I will not be ordering from them ever again.
Worst spicy salmon roll I have ever had. It tasted like some kind of canned fish. I thought it might of just been a different way of doing it but I also had salmon nigiri and the colour and taste were both off.
