absolutely ridiculous, i called in to ask about the free roll i had been previously offered (you can see it on google reviews, it was 3 weeks ago) and the owner yelled at me and told me to cancel my order. i am so shocked. I had ordered dinner for tonight because i wanted to give this restaurant a fair chance to redeem themselves from the last time i had ordered. she said she had NO IDEA about me being offered a free roll and that they would never offer that. I was going to just leave it at that but then she started questioning why i would even order from here if i wasn't happy last time. i told her i'd heard only good things from my friends and that i wanted to try again in hopes that it would be better. i have never had a restaurant owner act so unprofessional and rude towards someone. unbelievable.
Went there with my kids for dinner, their food came before mine. My food came 10 minutes later after my kids had already finished eating. They did not once inform me that the food would be late nor did they once check in on us. When the bill came there was a 15%Covid charge, I overheard the server telling the other table that it was a tip. Assuming it was a tip I asked the manger to remove it due to the poor service. She said no because I has already eaten the food. I told her I would pay for the food but not the tip/covid charge. She then told me it was a tax, I told her that the PST and GST were tax not covid. She refused. I paid the bill and left. Will not ever return again. How many customers misunderstood the bill and ended up tipping twice? Pure greed as there was no major precautions taken aside from plexi glass in front of the register. 15% paid by every order!
Sad to say, California roll wasn't good. Rice was seems like old.
Visited Yummy Sushi for the umpteenth time, still excellent food, good service, and reasonable prices. This time I did the take-out thing for 10 people around my dining room table. Everyone loved the meal, and we had lots left-over to send home with guests. Another winning combination from Yummy Sushi!
I’m always craving for good Asian cuisine. At Yummy’s, I definitely had a good experience. There was a lot of great selections and options. I especially like that I can order Korean and Japanese dishes. The portions are generous and the staffs are friendly. I would definitely go back!
We stopped by after spending a full day at Cultus Lake. The kids were super hungry and devoured everything that came out. The portions were very generous and everything was delicious. Our favourite was the salmon sashimi and caterpillar rolls. The highlight of our visit was when Mrs Kim (the owner) came out from the kitchen and offered the kids some candies. They are already asking to come back!

My mother and I go to Yummy Sushi whenever she comes into town. The food is amazing, but this is combined with excellent service. All the staff are warm and welcoming, and it feels like you are a valued customer the moment you enter the door. Other things to note: The booths are comfortable, and if you have a larger party (8-10) there is a private table that you can sit at as well. Overall: This is the best restaurant I have been to in Abbotsford. Others have great food too, but I what sets this one apart is the service and friendly atmosphere.
This place is always on point. I would recommend to anyone. Great sized pieces of fish. And friendly staff.
