The bento box was excellent. The lady serving us was very helpful (and quite patient) suggested a few things to try. And we did enjoy.The fruit tea is amazing. Peach/Mango is so good.The place is continuously cleaned as customers entered and exited.We will go here again soon.
Food quality has gone way down. They have a new system where you buy gift cards and get coupons. It’s a ripoff. It’s just a way for you to put major money down to make sure you come back instead of you just paying for your less expensive one meal right away. And the coupons are to ensure you really come back as often as possible as they are 5 and 10 dollar coupons that can only be used every 50 dollars and one at every visit. With the food being so bad now, it doesn’t make it very tempting to go back very often or at all.
The customer service was amazing, the staffs are super welcoming and friendly and explains the menu very well. The food is good for the price and I got my order very quickly. I also got the red pineapple fruit tea, it wasn't too sweet which I liked. Definitely will be coming back to this location.
The customer service was excellent. Staff members are friendly and explains everything throughly. Food taste very fresh and tasty. I ordered their chicken rice bowl and dragon eye roll for lunch. The chicken rice bowl gives you a good serving of everything and is very filling. The teriyaki sauce was also very tasty. The dragon eye roll was very crispy and fresh and the spicy mayo sauce it came with paired perfectly with the rolls. I will definitely come back again next time for lunch.
I love their Maki and sushi rolls. Big difference when I tasted another sushi from other stores. Staff guy in the kitchen is very polite. Offered me a seat while waiting for my order to-go. I noticed their restaurant and service got better in the past few months.
DO NOT GO TO TOKYO EXPRESS! We entered into this restaurant and ordered beef teriyaki bowls and dragon rolls. The teriyaki sauce and the sesame sauces have been downgraded. The flavours have changed, and not for the better. The beef was NOT fresh, Alberta beef. The vegetables were not crisp. Due to the competition and, of course, COVID-19, they have introduced multiple specials and price reductions. The quality is poor and I will be taking my business to the competition and pay more but it will be worth it. Treat your customers with RESPECT, PLEASE DO NOT REPLY WITH THE CANNED RESPONSE.
Its a good experience, food presentation is great, shrimp rice bowl and salmon rice bowl taste excellent. Ready to come back at this store.
I went to Tokyo express in St.Albert for lunch the sushi was very fresh and the tempura was very delicious the fruit tea was very tasty and service was friendly

Shrimp tempura was delicious, however for some reason, all the vegetables in my chicken and rice dish and tempura were soggy. The chicken bowl flavor was disappointing. This used to be one of my favorite restaurants, but this was a total turn off. I also asked for a hot match latte, which she told me she didn't know how to make.
