Food was really good. The music was at a decent level could actually talk to people at the table. Waitress was good. Enjoyed and will return.
I thought I would check out this bar since the previous establishment I liked was shut down. This was unfortunate as I did like it but new opportunities heh! Next door to this bar is Earls, now while I like their food, I try to support new local business. I noted a prior reviewer indicating the Thirsty atmosphere is bland-it is true! I'm thinking that this may change in the future, I hope so. Their bathroom had more bar ambience (see pics) Service was great. The staff were friendly (Angelica and Maddy) and on top of keeping their customers happy. I ordered the $10.00 Monday Weekly Feature Fish and Chips. The fish was cod and it wasn't over battered or over cooked. The chips were equally as good. They have events on Wed (trivia night) and live entertainment on Saturdays. I can't speak to either evenings as I have not attended. With checking out and good luck to the local owner.
This was our second time here. The first time was fantastic food was delicious and service was amazing. We decided to go back to watch the next hockey game. The food was still amazing but the service wasn't great. Maybe not enough serving people on. It took 20 minutes to get our waitresses attention to get our bill. She seemed to pay more attention to the young men sitting next to us drinking water. We will be back because the food is very good and the beer line up is decent on the craft side of things. Nice to see local supporting local
Not the first time we’ve been disappointed by the service there. When we asked about a happy hour menu we were told there wasn’t a happy hour on Friday. That’s fine but to wait 20 min for the waitress to come back to ask us if we wanted food isn’t. We took our business elsewhere only to find out on Facebook that there was to be free wings with purchase of a beverage and wasn’t offered to us. Definitely won’t return. We’ve given this place more than enough chances since they’ve been open and today was the last.
The pulled pork sandwich and the brisket sandwich were very good but the service was terrible. Sat there for 20 minutes while servers walked by avoiding eye contact. Had to flag down a waitress. 4 servers stood around doing nothing while 2 servers actually worked. The hostess could not even break a smile and was rude. Even though the food was good, I don’t think we’ll go back.

Great food! Great beer line up! Attentive service! Shared the calamari to start and it was really good! Tender, good flavour, nice dip with it! We had the burger and the brisket sandwich with fries and all was absolutely delicious! Returning customer and will continue! Great job Thirsty Rooster! ?

Always good food, cold beer, smiling faces and a good guitarist. Give the burger a try- the best around.**edit**To the reviewer who had the HH chicken sandwich and brisket sandwich- this was our experience. Give them another go- our experience was waaaay different than yours. Meaty, crunchy, tasty. Definitely awesome.
