?✨Wonderful little breakfast spot!✨?Stopped by late for brunch on a pretty hectic Sunday morning and still got some of the best customer service possible; the staff is fast, friendly, efficient, and interactive. This is also one of the few restaurants I've been to where the manager is also regularly out and about amongst their staff- which is great to see. The service was very quick; food brought out in a timely manner, regular but non-invasive check-ins from the servers, and consistent beverage refills. The food was SPECTACULAR!!! I'm usually not fond of French Toast but I loved their "French Connection" dish! It was soft, not too sweet, and very fluffy. Their sausages & bacon are also perfectly cooked (not greasy) and their house fries are REALLY good! Very simple, but pairs well with anything on the menu! Stop by if you have the opportunity to! It's one of the best food stops St. Albert has to offer and I promise you will NOT be disappointed! ?Special thanks to Manager Ging for being such a lovely host; you were such a great part of the experience ✨
First time at Sunset Grill will be our last time. The restaurant was quite busy, so we anticipated our food taking some time to come, no concerns with this. What we did not anticipate was food being cold when it came out. For such a busy place, it seems illogical your food and the coffee would be served cold (at a table for two, both our orders came out cold). The only reason for three stars was the wait staff were definitely working hard and honestly never stopped moving. Disappointing the kitchen seems unable to match their level of effort.
Tried the place for the first time today. Had one Canadian Omellette, 17 bucks, one standard 3 egg breakfast with, 4 thick slices of bacon, hash browns and toast 13.49 and coffee at 3 bucks each. The food was excellent, the best restaurant breakfast in a very long while by a long shot. Lots of gluetin and Keto friendly choices. Food is all organic, cooked fresh to order, nothing packaged. Good prices for large servings.Service was exemplary, and I dont say that very often. We will definitely be going back here regularly. They are very busy, only small niggle is the tables are pretty close together. Outside of that probably one of the best overall restaurant experiences in the last couple of years.
Perfect! Very friendly staff, delicious food, very efficient! They checked in on me 4 times over a short stay. 10/10 will absolutely be coming again
First off, they don’t seem to have a phone number you can reach them at. Busy on a Sunday morning but didn’t need a reservation. Probably a few too many tables packed in, very crowded. Ordered 2 coffees and 2 ice waters. Got the coffee but no water. Not a huge deal, asked again. Ordered Eggs Florentine and Avocado Toast. Received Eggs Sunrise (?) instead. Server offered to get the correct dish made but didn’t want to wait another 30 minutes. Noticed that the person sitting next to us also received the wrong order. My meal was a fairly meagre-looking meal for $16.49 with no tomato or fruit or anything on the side although it was tasty enough even if it wasn’t what I had ordered. And I had ordered the eggs “over hard” but got slightly runny yolks. My friend’s Avocado Toast was totally underwhelming, with a thin layer of avocado spread and diced tomatoes. The bread didn’t appear to have even been toasted. Will rather go somewhere else next time.
Good breakfast, friendly staff, reasonable prices and quick service. I was so happy to find this place.
Food and service were both good. friendly staff and tasty food...portion could be larger but it is a nice place to have a decent breakfast...they have a decent amount of options on the menu as well.
Great experience, good bacon and eggs
The BEST breakfast in town. Servers are always prompt and VERY friendly. Food always tastes great and fresh. IT’S A MUST TRY ???
Went for the breakfast special ? it was great. Quality bacon & sausage, pancakes were light and delicate. Very quick service. Will definitely be back
