Come in here all the time for lunch as I work close by, usually tip as well... but today.. service was terrible. she didnt greet me, i didn't even know if she was ready to take my order. Hardley made eye contact. Looked annoyed when I asked if she was ready to take my order after i paid.. she slid my change back half way back on the counter. Didnt hand it to me. Didn't say anything when i said thank you... she just walked away to the back. Usually friendly service. Worst. Won't be back. Yikes.
I routinely eat at Subway and love their sandwiches. I was in the Subway on Giroux (St. Albert) the other day. Given the pandemic, I have become pretty vigilant re hand washing and lowering the level of transmission. I was somewhat taken aback when I watched the girl who made my sandwich (veggies) handling multiple items, touching multiple surfaces (i.e.) handles of ovens etc immediately prior to handling the veggies on my sandwich. She was wearing gloves but truly should she not have changed gloves after completing all her tasks then handling the veggies put directly on my sandwich? I was disappointed to see such a lack of regard for safety.
Store is always clean and organized. Employees are very nice. Cookies are life changing. The one new kid has bushy hair and I’m scared a strand gonna fall in my sub…never does though.. talented young man.
Service is great but taste is sometimes hit and miss.
The guy that attended me was super fast, clear and nice to talk to. Definitely coming back to that particular Subway when around.

It sounds picky but sometimes it's just nice when the "Sandwich Artists" put a bit of care into making your sandwich properly/carefully. This place did that with my most recent sub and I'll be back to this location as a result. ?
