It was a burger joint, staff was friendly food served hot. It was nice that they offered a military discount.It was nice they offered to lettuce wrap the burgers.
Probably one of my favorite burger places in st albert. They have quite a bit in the way of options and I've never waited too long for my food. Prices are a touch steeper then I'd want but still pretty worth it.
I have a new all time favourite for fries and onion rings. Absolutely stellar. (I didn’t have a burger.) Also, they have a sparkling bathroom and, get this, paper towels and even a garbage by the bathroom door. Good service, and we’ll be back even though we live quite a ways away. But the deep friend brussel sprouts? I have a deep hatred of brussel sprouts and so I’m not going there. You’re on your own to discover those.
All in all a good choice for burgers if you’re looking for that solid fresh semi- fast burger experience a la 5 guys, burgers priest etcGood option for St. Albert. I like their bbq sauce and lemonade. Name is fun to say too! Smash-burger. SMASH burger. Schmash
BBQ bacon burger with smash fries is about the best thing I've eaten from a takeout place. Worth every penny - and it's not exactly cheap like McFood. Fresh ingredients and made to order. So good!
Been here many times and at first loved it but the last 2 times have been awful. First I ordered a bacon brisket burger and they came out giving me a burger with eggs and onions on it. I brought it back to who I think was the manager and she tried to convince me the bacon was brisket, the egg was cheese and that this was exactly what I ordered. After looking on skip the dishes, they actually gave me the sin city burger.This second time, my girlfriend asked for a gluten free bun. They came out with the normal bun, we asked them to change it, and they simply went back and swapped buns in 20 seconds. which is awful if you know about being celiac. On top of that, they brought out only regular fries instead of the smash fries my girlfriend ordered. This place was amazing the first 10 times we came but now it's embarrassing how they keep trying to get away with this. I've never had someone fight me on what my receipt said I ordered.Do not recommend.
Turkey burger came pink inside. Turkey can’t be pink you get sick it’s like chicken. Not pleased and will never eat here again if they can’t get a burger right. Deep fried pickles were soggy but that was due to packaging. Luckily I own an air fryer and can term poison into something edible. Ridiculous

These are simple burgers that have a good taste. Not a high brow food place but for a burger that tastes good and fresh buns, go for it!
