I ate from here twice. Once delivery and once drive-thru. Chicken tenders seem pretty bland regardless if you get spicy or not. They need to add more salt at least. The in bone chicken tasted better because there was some fat but still requires salt. Not enough savoriness.
Excellent service! Asked for all legs and they made them fresh for us! The batter to chicken ratio is perfect, more chicken than batter, sometimes it comes down to preference but I think it's delicious. The jalapeno poppers are cheesy spicy but balance out really nice with the sweet biscuits, nice to have some different fried chicken that tastes fresh and not greasy! I recommend giving it a shot!
The chicken is so tasty and savory, and the onion rings are delicious I would come here everyday. You all should come try Church's Texas Chicken for great service and food.Located just off st albert trail where the old KFC was
The staff at this location are over and beyond.We went on free chicken day 27th march 2022 and it was busy, so busy. We didn't know it was free chicken day it was just bonus. 40 bucks we got a 10pc deal. 2 large sides and some biscuits. In addion we also received the extra chicken.The chicken was large peices, the type you'd expect at home not the small KFC sized. I would say it was simular to Mary Browns. Super juicy super delicious.What really stands out is the awesome staff. I assume one was the franchise owner and his managers. They really valued the customers and guests. I've never seen this awesome attention in a fast food place.
Wanted to try it for my first time. Ended up not enjoying the Mex wrap I had. It was made well but the sauce tasted bad and it was the annoying kind of spicy that was spicy but lacked flavour. Woke up with a lot of heartburn from it.
Omg..the Strawberry Shortcake is so delicious. Love the chicken, pieces or tenders, spicy or plain, both great. Honey biscuits are awesome. Tried the jalapeno bites...spicey! Staff are so friendly, and efficient, service is quick. Little pricey, but so yummy. Will come back again!
Tried it for the first time tonight. Went into the store, instead of the drive thru. One family in the store waiting for food, a few cars in the drive thru, thought to my self, this should be quick. Ordered a 8 piece combo (chicken, biscuits, fries) plus a side of gravy. The nice lady who took told me it would be a 10 min wait, after 20 min I had my food and home I went. I guess they did not anticipate people would want to buy chicken at super time . I get home, open the bag, they forgot my fries. I get it, people are human, mistakes happen, but honestly, the combo has only three things, how do you forget one after having 20 minutes to get it right, it's not like there were 50 people lined up, or I had some huge order. They remembered the side of gravy to go with the fries. I didn't feel like a drive back thu a snow storm to get my fries, hopefully the staff can enjoy them.The chicken was barely cooked enough to be safe to eat, and certainly not cooked enough to be tasty, kinda pink and rubbery, couldn't get off the bone,pale yellow batter, not crispy. Very flat tasting. Despite the long wait for it, I would have put up for 5 minutes more to have it fully cooked. The biscuits were good, so was the gravy, but that does not make a fried chicken meal.All in it was a slightly worse experience than KFC, and that is a very low bar to get over.
Expensive, flavourless, cold food. I was excited to try but wasn’t worth it. Everything was cold, the chicken was coated in flour with no seasoning, fries had been sitting under the heat lamp. For a skip order watched staff microwave the fries so they weren’t cold.
Ordered the original chicken. I found the chicken to be unremarkable. The only impression I have after trying Church’s is there is better chicken elsewhere. No desire to go back. However at some point in time when my memorable experience fails, I’ll have to try again and give them a second chance.
Today I ordered the 12 piece combo, 5 chicken tenders, fries, coleslaw, jalapeno poppers, and biscuits. Food was very fresh and cooked perfectly. Best fried chicken chain!! Friendly staff and quick service.
