Food was amazing....very unique selection of sushi haven't had before. Had deep fried ice cream for desert was very tasty. The staff was friendly and very responsive. Will definitely visit this place again and actually can't wait.
Went for dinner on a Thursday night and it wasn't very busy (2 or 3 tables total), but the service was so slow! They were clearly busy with take-out orders and prioritized them over the dine-in customers. Luckily the food was fresh and tasty, but we were annoyed by the long wait for our food. It also seems on the pricier side ($140 for 2 people, no drinks). The picture shows all of the food we ordered except an order of tempura shrimp and crunchy scallops.
If I could give no stars I would. Be prepared to wait over an hour and have it treated like it’s normal. They are really understaffed in the cook department with the restaurant but they added DoorDash and it has backed them up even more. I witness 2 drivers today wait an actual whole hour for food. That’s ridiculous and I felt so bad for the drivers. The chef actually talked down to the drivers for asking for time updates. My experience at this restaurant makes me never want to return and I’ll be telling my close friends to stay away as well.
Such great food. Good prices as well. They were busy as ever so service was not awesome and one of our rolls was forgotten . But still worth returning!
Really good sushi in Sherwood Park, the restaurant sometimes has Uni so make sure to ask for specials. I recommend the quail egg on top of the salmon belly nigiri
Had the seafood hot plate and it was amazing. The lobster was some of the tastiest I've ever had. Everything is made fresh. Really enjoyed it!
This place is great! The sushi has been great everytime we order. We always try something new when we order and each time it has been really good. Nice little hidden gem.in sherwood park and not far from the house ?
if i can give a 0 i would. the 4.0 google reviews were so misleading!!!!!! they served us 4 waters and all of them had flaky bits, dust and hair floating on the bottom of the water we had to ask for bottled waters to be safe. the avocado bubble tea was very runny and it tasted like it was made of powder. the server did not even apologize for the dirty water and had to explain why the bubble tea was powdery. the ramen did not taste good as well and had a weird flowery smell/taste. this is not my first time going to a japanese restaurant and i've tasted a bunch of ramens in my life all over the place- this one tasted very sketchy and different. i don't think this place is sanitary at all and i don't think it's a coincidence that me and my friends felt like we needed to puke after. i'm all about supporting local but i wouldn't go back to this place.
Food was okay. Nothing really special. I had ramen, takoyaki and chicken karage. The water we had was really dirty and when we complained about it, server did not apologize or anything and just wanted to change it. There was hair and a lot of white floating stuff in the water. Gross. We ordered bottled water instead. Will not come back and will not recommended it.
Tempura was great, nice batter and sauce. Chicken skewers were ok, the sauce tasted a bit burnt. Overall I would try this place again.
