The employees were polite and respectful, the order was correct, everything was pretty much what you would expect from a fast food joint. My ice cream treat was a little melted when I got it, but nothing that was worth fussing over. So yeah all in all, this location is just as good as any other.
Out of both locations in Sherwood park this one takes the cake. Good service and food, drive thru times are pretty decent, and the little Cherry on top is that this location sells Orange Julius! Cheers.
I don't know where they hire their staff. We ordered at the window, they gave us our ice cream and then made us wait for 20 minutes for our meal. They charge a lot for the ice cream to have it melt before our meal arrives. I have no intention of going back
Poor quality food. Chicken strips weren't cooked fully (it was pink inside) and my kids hamburger paddy was burnt ?. Got our food in the drive thru and had to wait on the chicken so my hubby parked in the waiting area but they came out right away. Probably should have let the chicken cook a little longer. Tried letting management know but no call backs ?♀️
Very clean location. Easy to park on a Wednesday afternoon. Tags on tables prepped for dine-in. Try the stack burgers...pretty good. DQ has the best onion rings. Wish they had Coca Cola instead of pepsi.
This location must have management issues. The inside has been closed for over a year. The drive through is open but if you order anything more than a drink you end up parking for ten minutes even if there was only one person ahead of you. At least they get the order correct. Ops almost.
Multiple times I have ordered a blizzard with extra add-ins and they never add extra but still charge me for it.I wish they would properly follow the orders...Every time I’ve paid more than what I actually get. Will not be driving through this dq again.
Helpful and friendly....while under pressure of line ups!
I have a medical exemption from masks due to an assault that happened to me several years ago. I was screamed at and refused entry despite calmly explaining this to the man behind the counter. Customers then decided to also start yelling at me, one even followed me out to my vehicle.
Even though Alberta is in a relaxed masking situation the Dairy Queen, at 20 Crawford Way, insists that patrons wear one. When I told the attendant that I cannot wear a mask, he told me I would have to show my medical record (which is confidential) showing my exemption.I then asked what the necessity for a mask is, considering all staff members wear a mask, and there is a plexiglass shield between the staff and patrons. The only response he would give is that it is the owner’s policy.During our verbal exchange, another attendant joined the first one, and another staff member came and stood behind me, holding a broom in what I interpreted as a threatening way! Is this what patrons are to expect going forward?Surprisingly, during the time they took to ensure I was totally embarrassed in front of the everyone, both myself and the other customers in line could have been served and gone.I can only presume that this particular owner is a vaccine passport supporter, which is akin to the situation in pre World War II Germany. Show your papers or go to jail or worse!
