Great food. However, every time I have dined in, the service is barely there, bathrooms didnt have towels for your hands, and the attitude of all the staff makes it quite unpleasant to dine in. I recommend take out only.
The worst experience. Service was poor at best. Half way thru our order she had to leave and answer the phone. We arrived an hour before closing and she told us to eat fast. The food was bland, they had no rice !!!!! Really. The presentation was awful, thrown on the plate. The chairs are worn out. If your rave about this restaurant you need to get out and try some real Vietnamese cuisine because this is not it. Try Lemongrass in Edmonton it is superb. Never again.
Specifically there to check out the Satay soup as I travel around Edmonton just for that purpose.Enjoyed it. Very satisfying. Needs a lot more zest to make a person want to come back for more, but like I said, enjoyed it.
It was not my favorite, for sure. We arrived just after 8.. The restaurant closes at 9. I was told we had 15 minutes and had to eat fast.Green onion cakes. Fluffy dough ... barely a green onion. They were out of rice and the vermicelli was stuck together. I would not recommend this resturant at 8pm at night. The vermicelli bowl had chunks of lettuce: the white hard part. I am used to my vermicelli bowl having shredded cucumbers. All this one had was carrot. And just to make the atmosphere that much more, the seats are worn out and the place is definitely ready for a makeover. Unfortunately we went there to celebrate our friend's retirement: ?
The vegetarian spring rolls were good but I ordered the chicken curry and it really upset my stomach (all night). My husband seem to enjoy the Pho.The utensils and water jug weren't very clean. I probably won't go back again.
I was super disappointed with last visit. I ordered the beef, pork and shrimp vermicelli bowls and they were terrible! Hunks of lettuce, a few soggy bean sprouts, shredded carrots, super fatty beef full of gristle, shrimp was ok, no peanuts. All the meat seamed like it was boiled then flash grilled....hard to explain. Overall, extremely bland and boring! The spring rolls were very good though.
Some friends took me to this spot last week and was very impressed. The portions and quality for the price is absolutely worth it!Will be visiting again.
The best lemongrass beef rice vermicelli in the Edmonton area. Whenever I find myself in Sherwood Park, I always take the opportunity to stop for lunch. Other times, I would bring this amazing dish home. Ginger beef, satay beef noodle soup are 2 of my other recommendations. Quick service too.
Food is great, fresh and tasty, was my first time, I would usually give 4 stars,my sauce for my vermicelli bowl and my peanuts were missingGot the spring rolls, pork bowlSliced beef combo for 1
The food is wonderful. It's one of the best vietnamese restaurant that I have been.
