Amazing staff, our waiter was lots of fun to talk to! Had their signature dish and it was pretty good. Generous with sides too! Great casual place to eat out at

Ordered take out last night for pick up, Fathers Day, it was busy, no surprise parking lot was full so I knew it would be a while.Food came 15 late from the ready time on the app, no real problem as I was entertained by the Skip drivers waiting for their meals.Got our food and headed home.Food was great as normal. The problem that I did have was the salad, I have been noticing the salad has been getting smaller the last couple years on the take out side. Yesterday small was an understatement. The salad that I received was half of the container. I am talking the total salad would fit in a 1cup measure cup without packing it in.Hope this is not going to be the norm. The garden salad is one of the reasons why I like to go to East Side Mario’s.I do have a picture however could not post it for some reason.

Our server provided amazing service, very polite and courteous. The food was great and the all you can eat salads and bread make the cost reasonable. I will definitely go back again.

I hadn’t been to East Side Mario’s in years after a negative and bizarre experience that had our waitress start taking our food away while we were still eating amongst other problems. But I had just driven over 6 hours from Grand Prairie and I was craving pasta, so the wife and I thought about burying the hatchet with the Red Deer East Side Mario’s, and give it the first chance in over 5 years.HUGE mistake. We get there at 9pm. A quick google search before we left the house revealed they close at 10pm. So we get there at 9pm, and proceeded to wait nearly 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge our existence. The girl that did come to the door was super nice, but when she asked her boss if she could sit us the boss who was wiping down the bar was rude. Yelling from the bar they were closed.Closed…. At 9:10pm when their hours say 10pm. I’ve worked in the restaurant business, and people showing up an hr before close is not uncommon. Totally unprofessional. So as I look around I see a couple tables waiting for their food.So our simple party of 2,that would have been in and out in an hour left. Just wanted a quick tetrazzini and beer. So we went to Tiffany’s where I got pasta. Lobster linguine, lobster bisque, salt and pepper squid, racks of lamb and some killer drinks.Thank you East Side Mario’s Red Deer. For reminding me why I don’t go to your establishment any more. There once was a time I went there up to 3x a week. Now I have been in there once in years and you didn’t want me or my business. You may as well pull the plug on your business when you treat people that way. It’s not going to be good for you.

This was one of the best restaurants I've been to in ages! They accommodated my large school group! They were organized and the food started coming out at the exact time we agreed on! It was so delicious! Friendly staff!!! If I ever go to Red Deer again this restaurant will definitely be one I stop at !

Server slow as molasses, sat 10 min before even a drink was offered. 27 min before drinks arrived.......waters and pop. We asked for a new waiter and she was better. When our food finally came the soup must have sat cause the first bowl was barely warm. The pasta looked as if it sat under the warming light for 20min or so cause it was dried out. Kids pizza were undercooked and doughy. I would never recommend eating here.

I ordered east side off a delivery app. Originally my order was messed up bad, but I called in about it and they were amazing to deal with! Went above and beyond to make it right, which was greatly appreciated after a long days work out in the sun. Thanks alot east side Mario's red deer, I'll definitely be ordering again and recommend them!

Had a great time there with my friends. The food was great. The staff were very nice. We pre-ordered our food because we had 20+ people and they didn't make a single mistake. My only suggestion is to work on the meatballs as they are very bland and the texture is not very good.

The food was good, but the service was slow. It wasn't really busy, so I'm not sure why. We had 2 servers (I'm assuming one was training), and they were nice and friendly. We were half way done eating before they came back to see how everything was and if we needed anything else. Also when we asked for boxes for the leftovers, they took a bit to bring them and then we had to wait a while until they came back and asked if we wanted dessert or the bill. We usually have good service, but not the best tonight.

Dropped in around 6pm asked to be seated, and was told it would be a 15 min wait and no you can't wait at the bar. There were at least 7 empty tables that I could see, any way we decided to wait about 5 min went by and just as we were about to go over to Montanas they seated us. Still at least 7 empty tables, we sat facing the door and I counted maybe 3 different groups come in with only 2 in each group. So not sure what their deal was with making us wait, but not cool at all. The food was slow and was nothing to write home about, pretty average. Suppose to be unlimited bread but had to ask 3 times before we were served a second loaf. Wouldn't recommend and won't be going back.
