The Prawn Shroomami bowl was good but not sure why the prawns are cut in half. Presentation would be nicer with whole prawns. The grain/rice mix is good but there is too much acidity in whatever dressing is being used and becomes a turn off andI ended up leaving it. Tempura vegetables are good in this but only a couple of roasted mushrooms were in it even though they are featured on the menu description of this dish. I think this dish could be better than it is as this type of item is much needed on Earls menu that hasn't changed much over the years.
The title says it all. We had: Clam chowder with bread and ceasar salad Chicken Hunan Kung Pao Cajun blackened chicken The chowder was very tasty, the Hunan could be spiced to taste (0 up 6 peppers), my co-diner had 1, a good background heat, the Cajun had a bit more kick with a lingering heat. Our server was Brad and he was helpful and attentive without being noticeable. The quality of the food all round was excellent but, for example, at around $75 cad inc tip for 9oz steak is too expensive.
The patio was beautiful I felt like I was on vacation. The staff was very accommodating as we had a large party and wanted to sit on the patio. It was my birthday and they were wonderful
We were celebrating a birthday and enjoyed a table on the patio. Our server was excellent and we had a wonderful evening.
All good except we didnât know vaping was allowed on the patio. Not a big deal but we prefer to dine in a vape free atmosphere.
