I got delivery. Everything is dry and smells days old. Feels days old too, as my stomach is curdling and I've been in the bathroom multiple times since choking it down. $50 for bowel issues? Not worth it
We dined in and found the food fresh, crisp, and delicious. I think maybe for the first time we tasted actual ginger in our ginger beef. Our dishes in a dinner for four were generously portioned, and easily left us with school/work lunches for the next day. The waitress was polite, fair, and accommodating even though we arrived at an hour - near closing- when it might almost be considered impolite. I think this is our new go to place for Chinese food in Red Deer
I finally found a good Chinese food restaurant that doesn't use msg. The food is awesome. So glad we tried this place. The ginger beef is amazing. All the dishes are delicious.
Got the Singapore noodles, had so many yummy things in it! Got take out and only took them about 10 min to cook it up for us. HUGE PORTIONS!
Need more variety in meal for one curry beef was a joke skimped on beef and to many vegetables and sauce runny not impressed

Restraunt caller stating delivery driver was waiting outside my residence when clearly he was not. Then as time passed I called back asking if they had wrote down the correct address!?! Restaurant employee stated "oh he'll be back in just a few minutes." Half an hr goes by and still no driver! Then finally when he does arrive the food is not only cold but soggy. Not exactly the most ideal meal. I won't be ordering from here again! Maybe a discount at that point would be a good way of showing customer appreciation. Just my thoughts....

Food is not the same as I rember prepandemic. No indoor seating. I miss the buffet at noon. The food is hot hot hot The cram the containers so full they are spilling ! Its mostly rice. I wont eat all this. A dinner for one has so much food it could also feed two or three.
All I can say is WOW!!!!! China Ben's has never disappointed on quality, consistency, taste and presentation! They have the most delicious Chinese food I've ever had in my life!!!! If you are a foodie this is food Po#n at it's finest! Amazing taste and quality EVERY SINGLE TIME!!!! I drool just thinking of their food. Hands down 6 out of 5 stars!!!
