Second time we've visited Swirls on the way through Medicine Hat and it never disappoints!! Great service and staff and the ice cream was so good!! Even brought some home to store in the freezer for later!! Perfect place to go before hitting the highway!! All six kids loved it and it made their day!
You can never go wrong with the velvety smooth ice cream and so much variety. A must-stop.
30° weather in mid afternoon and there is only 1 person working! We're lined up for over a half an hour in direct sun! The owners don't care about customers, they care about themselves. Oh yeah, their prices have gone up substantially!!I will NEVER go there again!!!
Almost a half hour for 2 cones. I can get a cooked meal in less time and for less money. And the young fella working with the public was rude and short with customers.
Wonderful icecream and a local landmark. I don't know if it's actually summer until I've had swirls even though I no longer live in the Provence.
Now, I love ice-cream and have tried a few since leaving Jamaica and this is one spot that taste like home. The flavors are excellent. It is not overly milky if you know what i mean or fresh (no taste) like many I've tried. I had to buy a one litre cup ? ? and take it back to calgary. This place is rank #1for me next to Canmore not even Cochrane can compete. Swirls to the world.
Stopped here on a business trip after seeing advertisements for it and then happening to drive past. I'm so glad I did! What a cool little place, and what great staff! I asked what was good, and the awesome and enthusiastic guy and girl behind the counter asked what I liked and came up with a killer concoction of ice cream, cookie dough, cookie chunks and whipped cream. The treat was really delicious, creamy and chocolatey. It was a great recommendation from the pair. The storefront was charming and reminiscent of an old time ice cream shop. Even with all these positives though, I have to say the stand out here was the service, your staff are amazing and made my day! Thanks so much!
This ice cream shop was awesome and the ice cream was very creamy! Just be prepared for a bit of a wait if you arrive at a popular time! But if the weather is great, no trouble standing in the outside line.
