Unfriendly staff and incompetent.??If you sign a contract with delivery companies then you have to be friendly to those drivers and punctual.Your customers who can’t make it up to your restaurant they send drivers instead because they love your and your service.Let say that your organization and management is really poor, you can’t make someone to be waiting for the customer’s food for roughly half an hour up to 40 min????

Went at happy hour, didn’t get happy hour prices, food was wrong. Not like it used to be
Had the bbq pork rice and egg can't remember the name and don't want to.$20.00 for some dry pork,rice and a over cooked egg what disappointment. It could not have cost them more than $2.50 to make should have know better than to eat at at franchises!
We were in Medicine Hat visiting family and they took us to The Local for lunch. Such a great vibe, awesome decor, and pleasant environment. Our server Alanna was friendly, prompt, and hospitable. I had the chicken sandwich and it was sooooo good. The dill slaw is such a good addition to the classic crispy chicken sandwich. Can't wait to pop in next time we are in town.
Great atmosphere and food. Nice and festive for the Christmas season. I had the blackened chicken sandwich with fries and a apricat beer. The beer complimented the sandwich nicely. I will return.
The food is fine but overpriced and not consistent. The service is poor with wait staff not skilled in the service trade. The lack of cleaning in bathrooms, vestibule and surfaces makes me wonder what the kitchen is like. Too many other great eateries in the city...
The proportions are getting smaller and smaller.?Consistency is not there?Food tastes good though.We order weekly.Please watch for consistency.
This pub is very cool. The decor is casual and comfortable. Unlike most pubs, kids are allowed. My daughter loved the relaxed, friendly vibe and I enjoyed a great mother-daughter evening! I would love to go back in nice weather and check out their cozy patio.
Me and my lady are new to Medicine Hat, we've been trying to find a trendy place to eat and enjoy ourselves here in the Hat. And I think we found it , the Local it's going to be that place for us from now on!! we love it , awesome service nice trendy ambient and good food.
