Went for Cinco de Mayo. They had live music and it was busy so food didn't arrive as quickly as usual. Great atmosphere, a lot of fun.The entrance way gets easily congested and you aren't sure if your in line to pay or in line to get seated. Staff is helpful and warm attitudes.Food is decent. Some items I expected to have a bit more flavor, other items are really delicious.
Honestly the service is so bad. Sat at the table for 20 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us. The waitress was rude and crabby. Order came out in 2 pieces with no explanation. You’re not allowed to modify anything in any way because apparently the cook doesn’t like that, or so says the waitress. Will never be back. Gave the first 10% tip I’ve given in my life and I felt even that was generous.
This was my first time here and I heartily enjoyed it. The food tasted genuinely Mexican which is very hard to find anywhere else. The food was wonderful, the staff was helpful, and the restaurant had a real Mexican feel to it with the decor and music. Definitely will be back.
This is some of the best and easily most authentic Mexican food I've had in Alberta. There's a lot of selection, and it was hard to choose just a couple things! We had the tacos pastor (marinated pork) and the enmoladas. Absolutely perfect!
So I booked a dinner reservation at 7pm on a Saturday night, and we were there until just before 9pm.... AND THEY CLOSED AT 8PM! They did not say anything at all to get us out and I felt so bad when I realized... Food and service was overall great. I cannot feel any worse about staying there pass close. They are awesome, but be aware of their hours! Don't make my mistake.
The best Mexican food I've found in Southern Alberta.
Beautifully decorated restaurant serving authentic Mexican meals. The Sopa Asteca (tortilla soup with avocado, sour cream, cheese and chicken) is served fresh and piping hot. Will be going back to work my way through the rest of the menu! Awesome family business that deserves local support. My new favorite restaurant!
The food and service was amazing. And loved the Mexican music that was playing.
Amazingly good food,lots of gluten-free options for those of us who struggle to find places to eat. The service was quick and helpful. This place is ran by people who are passionate about delivering authentic, great tasting food.
I don't like to complain, but we have tried this place twice..... Today the the service was very slow, which I am ok with as long as the food is good. But by the time the food came to our table, it was not much more than room temperature. I am glad that many people can rate this place a 5, but I'm sorry, that was not our experience. I don't plan to ever try again.
