Location was clean and the staff was friendly but service was quite slow even though we were the only party in there at the time. Additionally, the only way to enter the restaurant on foot involves crossing the drive thru which is unacceptably poor design for a restaurant. Also, there were several errors in our order including outright missing items.
Absolutely the worst food I have consumed, today I grabbed lunch on my way to work,Chicken tender combo, the server gave a sales pitch to the lady in front of me, It worked I ordered the tenders meal which was explained to cost more due to the better cut and it to be the most tender, Well it could not have been worse,I should have known when it only took 2 min to get my order, rubber hard tenders that were either re warmed up or microwaved, it all went in the garbage..DISGUSTING.
I went to the drive through and ordered my meal and only got half my order.. tried calling and they don’t answer the phone when I did get through and asked to speak to the manager they don’t even call back.. this has happened a few times already.. not coming back here again
I pre-ordered and prepaid an upcharge for 6 breasts to be part of my 20 piece order as my 92 year old father prefers white meat and it was his fathers day dinner. We waited 20 minutes at pick up as it was not ready as promised. Manager promised to review recorded tapes regarding packaging of the chicken pieces & then never called back.(I told her I took pictures of what we recieved )They basically stole my upcharge as we did not recieve the breasts or the reply as promised to try to make it right. Chicken was just ok. It was only $7.00 lost on a pricey $63.00 for 20 pieces with biscuits but its the lack of integrity. I don't recommend them at all as I got more than 1 lie in our dealings. I need to trust people who are handling my food.
When I feel like indulging myself without spending too much, I hit up the drive thru and am rarely unsatisfied. Even if I have to wait, if they say it will be 6 minutes, its almost exactly 6 minutes. Could use a better speaker box, but other then that, great experience, always kind staff.
Absolutely terrible. Had the Flounder fish sandwich it was so greasy and did not taste good at all. The new wild berry beignet were under cooked and tasted like greasy soggy dough. Will definitely not eat there again.
The poor young girl in training made several mistakes with our order, all of which we had no problem with and told her not to worry. However, her manager or trainer (Paige) took over and instead of asking what was wrong, attempted to tell us the we had ordered wrong. Once we straightened it all out, we waited almost 25min for our food, only to be missing an order of fries and a strawberry cheesecake. I went back and asked for both and was told we hadn’t ordered them. Paige even tried to find our receipt, I’m assuming to argue, but eventually said she must of threw it out and finally gave us the rest of our meal. We will never go back again. Poor customer service!
THE CHICKEN SANDWICH, worth it?I had to go and try the chicken sandwich that has received so much attention in the USA. I had very high hopes and expectations, considering all the hype the sandwich has received. Unfortunately it didn't live up to it's reputation as the best fast food chicken sandwich. I'm not saying it was bad, it was a really good sandwich, but not good enough to take the title as the best. I felt the chicken was a little under seasoned, the chicken to sauce ratio was off (not enough sauce). The chicken was juicy but was also greasy (I know it is deep fried, but it was greasier than expected). The pickles were very tasty, but there weren't enough of them (only two on my sandwich). Again, it was a really good sandwich, just not a great one. I still gave Popeyes 5 stars as the food was good and the service was fantastic, the girl at the takeout window was very friendly. I will return to try the spicy version.Update: tried the sandwich again, this time the spicy version. The sandwich was much better this go around. Soft bun, crunchy breading, moist chicken, enough pickles and the spicy sauce was really good. This was the sandwich that deserved all the attention. And staff was very friendly again. They still deserve the 5 stars.
Why do I have to wait 15 min for the chicken wings to be cooked at lunch time? You make no sense! Disappointed.
Fast food should be good & fast. They were very disorganized the last couple visits. They made us wait 20 minutes for chicken! It's their specialty!! Then forgot the fries ? too ? ? Please do better. Was so ? when Popeyes opened here. Maybe the 3rd time will be the charm this year.
