The sushi sold on Thursdays and Fridays here, is my go to after a hard day. I recommend getting wakame salad and an icecream treat with it. This is a good place to buy Japanese cutlery, dishes, snacks, and frozen food and they have a great selection. Would highly recommend buying here rather than online stores, as Nakagama's is a locally owned and somewhat historical store.
An authentic Japanese shop tucked into downtown Lethbridge. Nakagama's sells food, cookware and gift sets among other things. I received a rice maker from Nakagamas for Christmas. It's the best rice maker I've ever owned! (See photo) Check out their website for other cookware, etc.

This store has been almost a landmark in the city of Lethbridge for decades now. Specializing in seafood & Japanese type products, this is really your best alternative if you need quality, fresh products for authentic Japanese cuisine. You can find similar products in grocery chains or other asian retailers but you will not find better quality here in Lethbridge. This is 27 years of experience living local knowledge that I am expressing.

We found what we need in the store and most of the products are very artistic especially those tea pot sets. The shop keeper is very friendly as well. Highly recommended if you would like to buy a gift for your friends and family.
