Pending review Lunch Lunch Horrible Customer Service. They are under new management. My boyfriend and I went for lunch. I don't eat Sushi so I only ordered lunch menu, spring rolls, rice, tempura. My boyfriend ordered dinner because he eats Sushi. But because we were at the same table they wouldn't allow me to just pay for the lunch menu. New management doesn't allow it. So we left.

This was the worst! Rude staff plus rodents made for a terrible evening there. From the beginning our waitstaff acted annoyed that we were there. Dinner was ok but we didn’t get everything we ordered. A mouse was stabbed through the bottom of the food prep/sushi rolling area to right beside our table by a broom handle. The staff member finished killing it, picked it up and walked into the back with the carcass. One of our party had just gotten there and couldn’t eat anymore of her food because it was RIGHT beside her. There were no apologies issued at all and the manager would not give our table discount. The woman who couldn’t eat was given a 20% discount, but only after fighting for it. Unfortunately we will not be going back.
Avoid this restaurant at all costs! If I could give the rating a zero I would. Went to Makisu with 8 other friends and the service was horrible and on top of that while we were eating some of the staff killed a mouse 2 feet from our table in the middle of the restaurant! They did not offer to compensate us for our meal either. A thing about mice is that if you see one then there are a lot more around and if they are in a restaurant they are getting into the food. Will never go there again.

Without a doubt the very best Japanese food restaurant in the city! I have gone here many many times and I leave impressed every single time. The food quality is immaculate, the service is fantastic, and the value is excellent. Highly recommend if you're a fan of Japanese cuisine, especially if you like buffet-style meals!
Delicious food and fast service. I'd recommend their special makisu sushi roll and the hot sale is the perfect accomplishment!
I highly recommend this place for there lunch menu. I’ve been here probably a dozen times and consistently left satisfied and happy! Highly recommend Green dragon roll, Salmon Belly and Beef teriyaki (Medium rare). Only let down is they consistently don’t have crabs legs which they advertise and mainly why I’ve tried to get the Dinner All you can eat. Unfortunately I don’t believe they ever carry Crab legs because I’ve never once got it anytime I’ve went there.Overall rating: 7/10For sure the best All you can eat sushi place in Lethbridge.
My daughter recommended we eat here and we really enjoyed the food. I would say the meal was on par with the best Sushi places we've tried in Calgary. This was a very pleasant surprise and I will go back the next time I am in Lethbridge. The Angry Dragon roll was our collective favourite.
It was my first time here and I really liked it. I ordered from the all-you-can-eat lunch menu. It’s a limited menu but enough selection for lunch. The won ton soup was really good and I was pleasantly surprised on how good the salmon belly was. The tempura was OK and the 8 pieces of sushi was good also. I was looking forward on trying their seafood siu mai, but they didn’t have any. The staff did come around to clear off the empty plates, but never once asked how the food was or anything else.
