Very clean place. I've never been to this place before. Very basic buffet. A surprise was them serving ginger fried pork. Could be a statement about the price of beef. It was almost preferable to the beef. Washrooms were clean also.
I order the mixed vegetable ( I didn’t know it comes with rice) and Shanghai noodle with beef. Not the best but is average. The portion is huge.
We have met at this restaurant in the past and while we do not feel like we were properly accommodated as per set up in the room we have always enjoyed the food there. That all changed on our Thursday night meeting. We were quite generally agreed that the quality of the food had really slipped and it was obvious that most of what we had from the buffet was left over from earlier and had been kept warm far beyond it's good point. Our group had 23 members in attendance and we have been in many locations over our 14 year affiliation so we know good food when we see it. This was definitely a poor showing for Imperial China. Although our bill came to far in excess of the $65 limit for a discount- we were not offered any discount on our tab. I am sure that a return visit from our group will be a long way down the road.
Absolutely disappointed in the quality of food there and the service. Will not be returning. We ordered drinks and I had to go to the fridge to get my own drink, food was displeasing, 2 out of 3 left full plates behind and they are over priced for the quality.
Ordered for pick up!! Called about half hour ahead, Saturday,5:15, it was very busy with eat in and pick up, very efficient! Waited about 10 mins, got food home , hot, fresh and very tasty!!! Definitely recommend also they have a buffet which looked amazing!!
Not the best buffet Chinese we have been to, but not bad either. They had a pork dish and shrimp dish that were excellent. The vegetable dish was over done and not very good, which was disappointing. The chicken balls were so over done and dried out, you could not cut it with a knife, let alone eat it. Because of the 2 excellent dishes, we would give this place another try.
We had a good meal, The service was excellent. but sadly I didn't find anything that stood out to me on the buffet. I will go again because of the service.
