Absolutely lovely staff and food. We've been 4 times in the 2 weeks we've been here. Can't wait to return when we move here in a few months. Thank you all.?Update 02.15.22: still absolutely fabulous ! Lucky to live near such a lovely place to dine in and chill out. Food was lush, 4 empty plates !
Of the several times I've ate at this establishment, I have not had any food that I enjoyed. However, this last experience left a bad taste in my mouth. We chose to order delivery, and my wife ordered a buffalo wrap and I a donair. The wife's wrap consisted of a chicken only found at Subway or Tim Hortons type chicken. You know the real spongy fake type any my Donair was hands down the worst excuse for food imaginable. First off the lettuce tasted old, almost border line like an old McDonald's wilted lettuce, and was made of fake meat. Not even real beef. In fact I have seen the type of meat I was served, in the frozen food isle at Safeway. One should save their money when considering ordering this dish from here. You will get the same garbage, frozen fake meat at the grocery store for a fraction of the price. In fact this last meal was so horrible, that had I been dining in, I would have immediately refused the dish, and definitely would not have paid for it. My review will state that, this establishment sends way to much time trying to make garbage food look trendy or appealing with, pseudo artsy takes of what is clearly Sysco boil in a bag food. Not many items on the menu are comprised of home cooked food. I would strongly recommend THAT YOU DONT EAT HEAR. In fact a quick view of the other photos posted will demonstrate, the food prepared here, doesn't look very enticing
Very disappointed in the portion size and lack of seasoning on these dry ribs. $16.50 for less than a half pound (13 ribs, three of which were essentially bones). Works out to over a dollar a rib. Issue was not addressed by management, who failed to provide me with an email to send these pictures to. The rest of the meal was good, well cooked and flavourful, but again portion sizes left something to be desired (pun intended).
I don’t have a picture, but there’s a review on here by Ewen Erickson. The picture is bang on- their burgers are AMAZING! Like even the ‘basic burger’ that they have is amazing. Well worth every penny! One of my favourite casual dining spots!
This is how a burger is done. Great sauce, great bun, you can actually taste the meat and it has a bit of everything in each bite! Been coming for years, better every time! Thanks guys!
I was so hurt and I used to cry every day ever since my beloved husband left me and got a second wife. I could look at our kids and miss him. It was a hard situation to endure the stress and at work, I could not perform well being a nurse I work on many people but I could be moody and could even lose tempers for small things my colleagues complained and I signed many warnings before the matron.
I come to this location and the North location all the time when I am in town. The food is amazing, the staff are always great the Tuna bowl is the best one out there. To top that all off the owners are actually working the floor here.
This place was great. The service was exceptional. The server had to bring the manager by as he wasn't sure about our order. The manager totally accommodated us. The food was delicious. Will be returning.
Wonderful to be greeted like old friends. The manager is very personable and most people who came to the restaurant were prepared for proof of vaccine: those not got to sit outside in the courtyard. Likewise with the server, she recognized us and we had an intelligent conversation - delightful. The French dip was tasty and the buns were incredibly soft. Service and ambiance are of course the reason we go here. Would definitely recommend.
