The food here was pretty good. The serving staff was friendly and the location was close to our hotel.Only complaint I had was that the portion sizes were a bit small for the price. Although I get that there is a recession right now and so the cost of food is higher, so that may be the reason why portion sizes were a bit small.

This was my first time at majors family restaurant since they've moved?, or opened a new location? Not sure, but the staff were both competent and friendly. The server was on point with the coffee refills, which was much needed, and appreciated! So thank you!!!!!!!
Normally don’t care to make reviews like this but when you get 50$ Worth of food. Two different meals. You’d expect to not feel sick all day after eating it and end up puking., for starters, got steak and eggs, was well over medium. When brought up to the server there was no offer to fix it nor discount , got the scrambler, w hollandaise, flavourless. And last but not least when I politely mentioned to the woman in the front paying us out. Ignorant enough she turned around , looked away and ignored everything I said as if i wasn’t there And continued saying have a good day. After my boyfriend had paid. Will not be coming back.
Great service and delicious food. Definitely a go to place. If you like gravy on fries or whatever, it's excellent here!
Our son wanted to go to Majors for his birthday. This restaurant truly is the best home style food in Grande Prairie! Our other son had a burger, and he kept saying it was the best burger he has ever had. The pancakes trump anywhere else in town, they are huge, fluffy, and delicious. We are happily coming back for more family meals.
Let me tell ya about this little jem,First off very busy nice clean friendly atmosphere, greeted when we walked in, friendly staff, served beverages right away.But the food, the food was all homemade the buns the burgers the eggs benny's had real ham in it. The chicken burger had a real chicken breast, the buns were fresh homemade. Home cut french fries. Yummmm I could not stop raving about all of it whilst sitting there. Loved the dishes as well reminded me of grandma's house back in the day. They also are licensed and had a very nice display of deserts to which the lemon meringue and the cheesecake were delish, we did not leave hungry.Great family restaurant, would recommend and return always.Thank you ??
Way over priced truck stop food with flavourless gravy. Canned pop at $3.50 a can and nothing on the menu thats gluten free after calling ahead and being told they have many gluten free options, place is expensive and lack lustre to say the least. Grande prairie has way better restaurants at fractions of the price. Never going back.
Another great tasting meal, if you are into home cooked meals you have to check this place out! After your meal top it off with the home made ?. Alway friendly staff to greet you. This place is a must!
