First off I wanna start by saying I give this hotel the one star because I don’t wanna give it zero the hotel itself is nice and beautiful. But the staff needs to be trained. My husband and I came down with our kids for a baseball tournament that weekend and we were told we could upgrade our room for the group rate plus $15. The girl on the front desk had no idea how to do it and we ended up upgrading to a suite and paying full price.I also ended up falling in the shower and I smashed my face on the sink, my husband ran downstairs to get a first aid kit an ice pack or some bags for ice, and the girl at the front desk said “No we don’t have any first aid kits we don’t have ice packs and we don’t have bags for ice” So I ended up using a petro Canada bag for my ice.My kids were super excited for the pool the sign said it opened at 6 AM, so we compromised and I told the kids they could set the alarms for 630 and then go down and when they got down they were told the pool didn’t open until 8 o’clock and were sent back to their room. They said the guy yelled at them and they were too scared to go back down before 8 o’clock even though we knew the sign said it opened at 6am!The restaurant had great food, the organizers of the baseball tournament gave us two vouchers for each of the four days we were down there so that we could enjoy breakfast. However having a quick breakfast before a baseball tournament was not in the cards because the service was super slow. It was close to an hour and a half for our food to be served and I had to ask twice for more coffee. So we never returned for the other three days and ended up eating McDonald’s for breakfast.

The only thing I enjoyed about this hotel was that the room was clean and the bed was comfy. The hotel front end staff are shy and quite. The one charged multiple credit cards wrong amounts. Went up to the to complain the next morning. After are card got flagged and the charges showed up. was given a 10 dollar McDonald's gift card. Front end staff needs to be trained better.

I only have one complaint. So I’ll put it at the end because overall the hotel is truly amazing. The entrance of the hotel is spacious and comfortable with friendly staff. There is a great restaurant with delicious dishes- really unique dishes made in-house; if they have it try the Philly Steak soup. The rooms are very clean, with great space and well designed layout. We were very comfortable and didn’t feel crammed. The staff even made my 6 year old a Towel Elephant that thrilled her! There is great sound proofing in the halls so we didn’t hear other guests at all. It truly is a 5/5 hotel. But the pool…something has to be done. You drive all this way with your family, and choose a hotel with a water slide. You get the kids ready, and as a family you walk into the pool- excited because the water slide looks like so much fun. You jump in the pool and start splashing and having some great family fun. Then the tap on your shoulder “we are doing swim lessons on this side- please stay on that side”. It’s a kidney shaped pool, never intended for swim lessons. Now you, and 14 other kids/adults are crammed into the half of the pool with water wiping out from the slide and pretty much on top of one another. While on the other side of the pool there are 2 instructors and 2 infant/toddlers. Oh and the 14 of you get one exit ladder, and the lessons have 2 safety exits.I was bewildered! I knew during the height of Covid with public pools closed that this practice occurred at hotels, but families are back travelling and enjoying their summer vacations this is not the time to close down half your pool. There are no signs indicating who is running lessons- so I can’t give any details about the company. It was just so upsetting. My six year old was told several times she was too close to the lessons- there was no swim lanes/ ropes or signage to indicate this business practice. It was an awful experience that ruined our pool experience.Ft Mac is home to one of the most beautiful multiplex centres so it makes no sense that Radisson is continuing this, so my suggestion is to phone, and ask if they are still allowing lessons to occur in their pool. If they are, trust me it will ruin any ideas you had about using and enjoying the pool area. The lessons were all day Saturday and evenings when we were there from what we could see.In the end we headed to the splash park downtown, which is a great find with loads of family fun.

Nice room. Comfy bed, nice pool area. Kids had fun

We had a little Staycation here. My kids loved the pool and slide. They even had two little lifejackets. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. 5 stars!

Sleep number beds in my room. Great sleep, complimentary breakfast was delicious in attached restaurant

Friendly and courteous staff. Everything was fine until we got to our room. The fan/AC didn't work so we slept in 24 degree room while leaving the window open.

Nicely appointed rooms, and very helpful, friendly staff. Beautiful restaurant /bar.

Rooms are nice and clean, the water in the water park is cold

Nice place to stay but room was not cleaned when we asked for it to be cleaned.
