Awesome to see the work in progress as you are buying the goods. To hear the people ordering in front and behind me using the Ukrainian names was neat to hear and very pleasant lady taking orders to be filled.
I am a celiac and was missing homemadePerogies something fierce. I had tried making them for myself but my dough was never good enough. I actually cried when I had the gluten free perogies from here. Thank you Yo Baba for giving me back my perogies.
Fair prices, crazy good cabbage rolls, though I recommend your own tomato sauce rather than the called for tomato soup. We had the cheddar potato and bacon perogies as well... beautiful...I can barely stomach grocery store perogies but Yo Baba perogies actually taste like cheddar with bacon. Overall very impressed,with the store, service and food.
Some great gluten friendly options and I appreciate that the lady helping me was knowledgeable about it. I bought the GF perogies, a large borscht and a 50 pack of cabbage rolls. Would definitely purchase again. Currently, all proceeds from borscht sales are being donated to Ukraine so I’ll be back for more soon!
Best frozen Ukrainian food you’ll ever find. You can’t make it yourself for the price point and it’s so delicious that you’ll want to pass it off as your own cooking. Lol DELICIOUS
Hands down the best perogies and cabbage rolls I have ever had. I am on my way after work to get another tray for myself so I can eat cabbage rolls all week long for my lunch!! <3
First, I want to send as much holiday cheer towards John Semeniuk, who seems to need it. Bad days happen, and it sounds like he had a terrible one to have said so many horrible and inappropriate comments towards people. I hope he is able to find some kindness going forward.
Lovely little gem of a place with nice selection of frozen Ukrainian food. Reminds me of pot lucks out on the farm where everyone's Baba brought their best. Sauer holubtsi with bacon is highly recommended.
The best Ukrainian food you will find. All hand made just like Grandma's. You owe it to yourself to give them a try.
My go to everytime for Cabbage rolls and perogys. Definitely fresh and homemade.
