Solid choice for a great bespoke burger. Tasty & Juicy, my burger was also plated well and the fries were golden potato goodness. Service prompt and friendly. Aesthetics of the interior were pedestrian but it’s really about the burger! Good value.
It's a pretty good burger. It is definitely good enough to go again. If you find yourself downtown and want a burger then Wayback is worth a go. The onion ring that came in the burger was top notch. I didn't have the milkshake, but my friend thought it was tasty. It's a great lunch place.
The food and service was absolutely amazing! I tried the Nashville hot chicken and it was phenomenal. Everything came out fresh and hot and the staff were incredibly kind. Definitely one of the best burger spots in Edmonton, can't wait to head back!
Great place for a burger and a milkshake! I got the classic burger with fries. Patty was juicy and flavorful with just the right amount of seasoning. The fries were fresh hot and crispy. Best part was the milkshake, it was so thick and creamy. Easily the best milkshake in town
Stopped in for an impromptu lunch and was pleasantly surprised. The service was super friendly, the restaurant and bathroom were absolutely spotless and the food was superb. If you're a fan of smash burgers or Shake Shack you'll love this. Will absolutely visit again!
Omg it was the 1 time there !!! What yummy burgers great atmosphere The waiter was fantastic and very busy he managed one his own out front and was super nice and friendly Slip the dished drivers that came in were rude and impatient with the waiter , he can only do so much and not his fault there is no parking out front for them but handled the drivers best he could I’ll be back
I brought my girls for dinner and they absolutely loved the milkshakes and food! I’ve never had such a peaceful dinner. The server was so good to my girls! We will definitely be back!
Not sure how I missed this place with its central location, but Wayback Burgers is a very solid fast-casual burger joint.Burgers and fries were fresh and tasty, but I was surprisingly most impressed by the milkshake. I get cookies & cream milkshakes basically everywhere I go as my favourite and baseline flavour, and was taken aback by how creamy it was without being overpoweringly sweet.Interesting to see that Jack's Burger Shack has just opened up right next door, which I'm also looking to check out. A little bit of a friendly rivalry that us burger lovers only win from.
great food awesome fast service up beat vibe and can also watch sports great place
These burgers taste like happy memories and movies from the 50's. Bursting with all the classic flavours you might as well be in the DQ drive in at the parking lot from that picture we have all seen. Keep in mind I didn't even get to eat the burger until it traveled for 25 minutes and I was still floored. Lastly, the ingredient quality was high enough and felt okay in my stomach(still heavy, it IS a burger after all). Definitely the best classic burger I've had in town.
