The restaurant itself is beautiful. The artwork and decoration, the seating area. Really great vibes. I only had the fish tacos which were great. Every order comes with 4 tacos except for the fish tacos. Sadly you can't mix and match. Price wise, it's fair for the quality of the ingredients. Recommend you try it 100% I'll be back to try a torta or burrito. / update I tried the burrito and it wasn't as good as I was expecting, very saucy and soggy.
I heard that they had birria tacos and it was delicious! Probably the best I’ve had in the city. The lime added a nice touch and it was perfect, not spicy at all. We also got fish tacos, they were big! So you definitely get what you pay for. We also got salsa and guac, very fresh. Although, a little overpriced for the amount you get.I’m happy to say that tres carnales is definitely on our top 10 list in Edmonton. Would 10/10 recommend! (Staff were also very friendly and made the experience even better :) )
Finally had a chance to check this place out. I tried the fish tacos and they were wonderful! Also thought the hot sauces where very memorable. Definitely go back for more.
One of my most favourite spots in the whole am city. The food is amazing, I never feel anything but full and content. We go here before Hockey games, concerts, and escape rooms.Best to go between 4-5 pm to ensure you get a spot!Their deals are always changing/rotating, and honestly you will never be disappointed if you do the special.The chips and guacamole and salsa are amazing and all made in house.Made for vegetarians and omnivores.The perfect local little place to enjoy!
Would love to give this place a 5 star but sadly they had multiple options on their menu that were not available. I suggest removing them from the menu or making it clear before ordering, we went there for seafood tacos of any kind or mushrooms in a taco and both options not available, might be bad luck but it felt like what we wanted wasnt available until we had to settle. The food i did get was delicious, just not what i was intending to order.
Super cute and unique restaurants, love the atmosphere! The food was licking fingers good and rich in flavor. Also my first time trying Jarritos, a very pleasant surprise. Will definitely come again to try out different items onto he menu they offered.
This place is always busy and rightly so. The dining area is not large so prepare to wait if you are going at a popular time. The food is fresh, authentic and fantastic. I've been many times and have always been happy. I love that they collaborated on a beer brewed by Ally Kat, and its very good! I had the vegetarian tacos on my last visit ... very yummy.
I am sad to say that although the food is good, i have to rate them 2 stars. The taste is pretty good but the portion sizes are too small for the price. They do authentic mexican tacos well but I always feel like i never get my money’s worth. They also should expand their hours of operation, being a downtown location and only open for 8 hours a day and closed one day. I always find them closed when i crave their food
I had the quesadillas de al pastor! It was really flavourful and the sauce was unique also. The quality makes up for the price. Edit had the beef braised version and just as tasty.
This place is awesome we sat down to have a drink before the hockey game and had some amazing tacos, good tequila and the service was great. We met the owner and talked with him for a bit, he was really cool very nice guy.This place is the spot of you want some top notch Mexican influenced food this place is the bomb!-the Yellowknife couple
