Excellent atmosphere, great friendly staff.The food was amazing, we tried their platter which was recommended. The meats were cooked to perfection and had a smokey BBQ taste. The sauces and salads delicious!!!
The ambience of this establishment is hip. As we entered the place, we were immediately greeted by a hostess and seated, although the place was busy and we had made no reservations. The server was attentive, good with refills, provided fast service, and offered knowledgeable suggestions. We ordered Rosti Salad, Chicken Tacos, and Seafood Molcajete. The food looked appetizing and tasted incredible. Although the food rates are high, I think the quality of the products served justifies it. The washroom was clean as well. I will visit again.
My partner and I ordered takeout at the end of March. I had fish (first time I've had fish tacos here) and beef tacos. Overall good flavors (as expected, we've been here before) the was only 4 very small morsels of fish. Not remotely comparable to the generous serving of beef given for the beef tacos. I would recommend the beef, not the fish.My partner had the veggie tacos, and enjoyed them thoroughly.In general, I don't love spending $20 for 3 fairly small tacos, but I knew the price and portion size (though not the lack of fish) before I ordered. Value for money isn't amazing, but I haven't found a better place other than the two tres carnales (this, and the original) for flavor.
Great care for a large table our wiatress was amazing.. drinks were top notch, mussels were were die for... my only complaint is I wish I knew all the tacos had so many onions lol bring your breath mints!!! Bathrooms very clean... I only got one pic
I hadn’t been to Rostizado in about 9 months, and was pleased to find a new menu (which still features a lot of familiar favourites). Our server was incredible and accommodated dietary restrictions and kept our water glasses full! Thank you for a wonderful dinner! Will be back soon
This place is a must try if your in downtown edmonton. Its not cheap but its totally worth it. Food tastes amazing esp the duck carnitas and soft tacos!!! Roasted chicken platter was good too. And if you like margaritas this place wont disappoint you. I super love the ambience too!!! They have an open kitchen and toilet smells amazing ?. Theyre showing live oilers game when we visited. And the staff were all friendly.
Always a great meal here and today the food was exceptionally good despite being short staffed. Brought my brother in law and his gf here and they were swooning over how delicious everything was. Can’t wait to come back for that cauliflower (sorry didn’t get a picture, it was too good!), the churros and the prawn tacos. Wow.
The venue is very stylish, the staff were great, the drinks were good yet the food did left us somewhat disappointed. The burritos were tasty but dry and they lacked flavor. We were not expecting traditional food at all but I have to say that the Mexican food you can get at Mucho Burrito was a lot more flavorful for 2/3 or less of the price. We thought as well they'd have more on the menu. We recommend you try it and make your own conclusions. Great atmosphere!
Great dinner and strong showing. The half chicken is perfect to share with a couple and great presentation on the board. A bit counterintuitive going for rotisserie chicken at a Mexican-style restaurant but the flavors play really well and the value proposition appears to be higher than other items on the menu. Cheese fries hit the spot. A good happening place with good vibes. Spouse had a margarita and we shared churros for dessert – the dulce sauce was great but not sure of the salted chocolate (would prefer without the salt). Because it is in the ICE district, expect it to be super busy during hockey games. Be mindful that parking might be difficult to find. Where do I start? Great service, knowledgeable servers. Excellent authentic Mexican menu, much of it locally sourced. Unique cocktails - I tried the hibiscus margarita, so tasty I had two! We started with mussels, followed by chicken and fish tacos, and churros for dessert. All were perfect. Very cool decor, creating a cohesive theme and dining experience that puts all downtown restaurants (that I've tried) to shame. Very impressed.
