Discovered this yesterday after a day of scootering around in the rain. Got myself a pain au chocolat and a chai latte and they were probably one of the best, if not the best, chai lattes I have ever tasted! The froth was just perfect and the ambience definitely elevated the whole experience. Definitely a must visit if you want something quaint, big on flavours, and not a disappointment. Prices were fair, too! And the people there were so kind and warm! Such a great discovery!
Very good coffee! Quick service and good snax. Lovely place and they have comfy booths as well as chairs outside.
I always make a point to come visit Transcend when I’m in Edmonton. Their cortados are the perfect ratio of espresso to milk for me. In general most of their drinks are more concentrated and less sweet than what you’d find at your average coffee shop - so perfect if you really like the taste of espresso! This place does tend to run on the pricier side, but the atmosphere is great, the people are lovely - and there’s free parking out back!
One of the best lattes I've had. Very smooth. The froth is on point. The price is good too. Wouldn't bother with their food/snacks/desserts though.
Unique building with other business in the same space. Lots of people around on a Sunday afternoon so no place to sit inside for a coffee. The flat white was on the better side of decent. Did not appreciate how they expected you to tip at least 15% . The guy asked for my order, I told him and he said my total. There was no extra service, nothing exceptional, so not sure why they ask for a tip. Total a flat white was $7.53
I'm no expert on coffee, but I've tried a lot of different beans, and these guys roast the best beans I've ever had. Hard to buy beans from anywhere else now!
Discrimination against people with medical mask exemptions. Told to wait outside right after the barista touched her own mask several times.
One of the best in town. Also took one of their coffee tasting class/session, where we tasted coffee from all around the world and learned about the differences in aroma and taste. It was fun and educational… money well spent
Great visit to this little coffee shop for coffee and a small bite. The coffee and ambiance was wonderful. Had a small bite of the banana bread which was also a nice taste to top off the coffee while visiting Edmonton with friends. We walked by the North Saskatchewan after with our coffee.
Cute places and very chill vibes. Their coffee is great, and tastes like it's really good quality. The prices are a bit higher than can afford very often, but it's worth it when I do.
