So, they’ve supposed to be a quick serve Indian restaurant. In the past they’ve had some okay curry and it was usually okay for a quick bite. It was a solidly acceptable three star kind of place with a decent variety when you wanted curry quickly.Nowadays they manage to be slow even when there’s barely anyone in it, which is an achievement given that most of their menu is ready to serve. The staff are unable to take an order correctly, which is an achievement when it boils down to ordering number of items on the plate.
This place is always delicious and never fails to satisfy the buds on my tongue. Everything is ALWAYS super fresh. They got the BEST naan in town. Seriously. Great price for the quantity. Abundant vegetarian options, and is my go to when I’m in the area. Also the limitless toppings and garnishes is always a TREATTTT. However they’re always out of cilantro but the food makes up for it. Pick Tiffin for your next choice when eating outIn this photo I got the palak paneer, plain naan, eggplant masala, and coconut riceAnd my friend got the chicken vindaloo and eggplant masala with the veg pulao rice!
Excellent food everytime. Taste is always consistent. We tried the pepper paneer, lamb curry abs saffron rice. Plate 2: Mango Paneer, lamb curry, and coconut rice.
Good food, great portion and good price. If your looking for real food downtown like rice, vegy and meat this is the place to go.I'm a small person and after buying the 3 portion meal ($17) I was able to take the left overs home. I shared with my mom and still had enough for me. Two meals! Or 2.5 meals for 17$.Great staff also. When I went at 6:30pm it was very quiet but it seems like it gets busy with the amount of sits available.
Stopped in for a quick takeout dinner while in town.Ordered the three curry dinner plate. Coconut veggies, goat curry and a spicy chicken curry (I forget now which one it was) Food was very flavourful. The naan was thin and perfectly cooked and the curries tasted fresh. The staff was also very kind and recommended dishes based on your preferences. Will definitely be back.
We have ordered here many times and it never disappoints! The fish pakora is out of this world!!! Always hot and fresh! Love that you can try 2-3 different things at one time… and it satisfies all my cravings. The bread is to die for! Keep up the great work!!
Best Indian food in town. The staff are always friendly and welcoming. Food has always been warm and fresh no matter if it is the start or the end of lunchtime. The freshly baked naan is amazing. Portion sizes are very large. Good helpings of rice and your choice of at least 10 different curries, can make it hard to decide what you want to try. I tend to choose the paneer pepper masala and butter chicken but I have eaten almost everything that they serve. The chef's special is always a great choice as well as it always changes. The dining room is nothing special. It reminds me of an upscale food court. The decore matches the industrial feel that the restaurant has, so nothing feels out of place. I frequent this location at least once a week and have taken many of my coworkers here. No one has been disappointed or left hungry.
I love the food at Tiffin and usually order food to go but tonight a friend and I decided to eat in. We sat down in the dining area and my friend commented that he thought the table and area we sat did not look clean. Also the wall next to the table where we sat was scuffed and did not look clean either so we moved to another table by the window. When leaving and taking our trays to the area where the garbage was I noticed spilled and dried food surrounding the entry of the garbage bins. The restaurant was not busy and a couple young guys were working. As good as the food is its a turn off to see unclean tables and garbage area. I've been to the Windermere location and it's very clean. I think a little more attention by management at this location to ensure the staff are diligent in cleaning tables and garbage areas would make a huge difference to customers.
Amazing food experience, 3 varieties. Nan was cooked right, most places will burn your nan. Need to go in order, lots of toppings can add, onions, cooked onions, peppers. Best indian restaurant in town.
Pretty good for what it is. Only complaint was that the food was not hot enough. My order was the butter chicken, palak paneer, amd southern chicken on saffron rice. Also got a garlic naan on the side, they make it fresh so do not pass on that. Overall everything was good amd flavourful. Definitely a lot of food, I barely finished my meal.
