For about 8 years I have considered Five Guys my favourite burger.Until today.My GAWD what a delicious meal!My wife, myself and my daughter ate ourselves into a food coma!Bravo to the cook!!
An out of the way residential area pub. Eclectic menu which if you read every item, brings a smile to your face.We were a party of four (separate bills) and our drink order was quick. Had a bit of a wait for our entire party to show up before ordering.I ordered a Belgium Blue Moon and the cheeseburger and fries.The burger wasn't one of those processed ready to cook patties and the fries were of a really good quantity and tasty too boot.Thanks a lot to our server and the cook (the only two employees that we saw). Our server did double duty as the bar tender.Would I go back, yes indeed. When the weather improves they have a patio that is west facing.Returned for another lunch. They were awaiting their keg delivery and were a might light on the draught choices.
Do you like "Do Not Eat" packets in your burgers? If you do, order from the Thirsty Rhino! My special packet came in the Magic Mushroom Burger... maybe that's the magic part.
Just happened upon this place when I searched good burger place. The internet didn't lie! Food was HOT when it got to the table. Almost had to get rolled out I was so full
Decided to try as I have heard about this pub through neighbour's. Food was really delicious and portions were generous! Went on a Sunday at about 5. Place was steady and only one waitress working but she was amazing. Will definitely be going back and bringing friends !

The food here is far above average. Not your typical greasy bar menu. Not quite fine dining but pretty close. The beer is cold. The decor is very comfortable. It’s just simply a great place to go. A north-side “hidden gem”.
The Thirsty Rhino is hands down the best bar/pub in Edmonton. Amazing food, innovative menu, awesome atmosphere, kind and courteous staff. They bend over backwards to ensure you're having a great time. The prices are great too, and their only true rival is their sister-pub, the Twisted Rhino! :) I've never had a bad day - or night - at the Rhino and can't wait to return. Mediterranean nachos and poutine are the best!!!!!!
