Had a great time at The Kitchen-River Cree Resort & Casino, the food was delicious and served promptly. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant ambiance was moderately quiet. Lots of parking to park and very accessible.

We went here for my Mother In Law Birthday day. She was very impressed by the quality of food and the selection she doesnt normally go to restaurants like this so she was so happy to come for the bbq buffet and we all loved it. The staff were friendly and professional and patient as my mother in law loves to talk and eat and can take a long time but they were very nice about it and we had a fantastic dinner and experience. I have been going to this buffet for years pre covid and now after covid and the service is still impeccable. Thank you a lot.

Food was great staff fantastic

Service was terrible, however the waitress is not to blamed. She had to many tables for one person and could not have possibly done anything about it. The restaurant needs alot more staff.Food also took forever to receive.

Although not the waitresses fault she was swamped with no one to help. They really need more waiters / waitresses. Food was good just took forever to get.

When i reserved they ask me if its bday anniversary etc.. i checked anniversary i thought you have something to give atleast cake with the letter but theres nothing next time dontput the question anymore! Its nonsense

It is a great place to meet with friends or family members for buffet dinner.

The service was bad , waiter never came and asked if wanted another drink or how was the food . I had to ask two other waiters for ketchup.

What a great meal shared with my inlaws this evening. They are visiting from out of province and we knew they would enjoy a meal at The Kitchen. We had the rib special and the steak and prawns special. All food was delicious and our server was amazing!

We were greeted immediately and the host made small talk on the way to the table. He was very nice. Our server, Joseph was excellent. He was friendly & efficient. I almost feel bad giving the service such a low rating. But we received our appetizers well after our meal and we had to alert the staff that the appetizers weren’t served. In my experience, if something like that happens, a manager would come by to smooth things over and apologize for the over site on behalf of the staff. Not a big deal, but that is what I expected. As it turns out, we would have been better off not receiving the appetizers because they were not good at all and we paid for them. 2 orders of Garlic prawns. I would definitely not recommend them. The rest of the meal was fantastic. 2 grilled salmon dishes, a southwest rice bowl & finally the slow cooked short rib - all excellent! 2 desserts - molten lava cake & sticky toffee pudding - both were very good. We were seated at the back end of the restaurant looking over the kitchen. I think it is nice that we can see the kitchen but the smoke coming from the kitchen was very overwhelming at times. It was quite loud in there as well but we didn’t mind that since we were chatting. I would request to sit closer to the front of the restaurant if we go again. We met at The Kitchen because it is a good meeting spot for friends & ourselves to drive in to as we are at opposite ends of the city.
