Was a good experience. We had a bad experience the previous time and the manager gave us a little discount, and the waitress assured us this time, that she, wouldnât miss a beatâ¦.and she didnât. Great meal. See you again soon.
We go to the keg because it has the best prime rib in the country. No other restaurant can even come close. And it is always consistently great. The quality, flavour, service never varies. And this dinner lived up to those high expectations. Always my go to restaurant for prime rib.
Disappointed that my favourite meal - halibut - has been taken off the menu. Green salad "veggies" consisted mainly of red and yellow peppers, with just a couple of cherry tomatoes and some cucumber. Very poor. Overall expensive.
The food was excellent and our waiter was a true professional.
My moms 77 birthday It was loud and noisy Not the experience I was hoping for as they were in town from NS Garlic mashed potatoes were cold
The Keg is always a favourite of my husband and I. I love the ambience, the food is great and an excellent place to celebrate a birthday, anniversary or special occasion because the complimentary ice cream cake is amazing! Our server last night was top notch. I highly recommend the Keg West Edmonton!
Anniversary. Complementary dessert unexpected and very nice. Excellent staff rapport!
We went to the Keg for our 7th year wedding Anniversary. The waitress excellent and quite diligent. Friendly but not pushy and very thoughtful. She listened to us and gave thoughtful ideas. We enjoyed the service and the restaurant very much. The bread was delicious although my wife prefers there old whipped better then the new 4 cheese one. The meals came at a reasonable time and were very good. My wife ordered a prime rib with lobster which was perfect. I ordered a new York strip. The only major issue was that my steak was overdone. My wife ordered hers medium rare which it was perfectly. My steak I ordered medium. The steak was not even pink on the inside. Maybe the slightest hint of pink. To me that is well done. I would consider medium to be pink with some blood and even a touch of red in the center. Not a big deal as it was still good. But not what I would have expected from a steakhouse. We had the Billy miners cake for dessert which has got to be one of my all time favorite desserts. Overall it was still a great experience and we will definitely go again. The great service by the waitress was a big help as well.
A nice family dinner out. Ordered the Keg burger with fries, pistachio crusted salmon with brussel sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes, and prime rib with fried onion straws and french fries (not pictured but could have chosen fresh vegetables, baked potatoes or garlic mashed potatoes). Everything tasted great! The decor was dark, warm colours reminiscent of traditional steak houses. Our server Chris was attentive and friendly. It was busy with lots of diners so the noise level was higher. Not a place for a romantic quiet dinner but great for a fun night out with family or friends.
Great food. Our waitress was amazing! I have food allergies and I love how careful they are when preparing my food. This is my favorite restaurant. It is pricey but the food is always fantastic!
