We brought four kids out for dinner tonight and they were treated like kings and queens. The most amazing service we’ve had. Highlights of the meal were the morel mushrooms on toast and the lamb shank. They really went above and beyond and we had a wonderful evening. Thank you! We will be back. Next time we will bike!

Intimate table setting, excellent service and extensive wine list. The menu is tight but provides good choices. Our meals were very well prepared and presented, very tasty. No CoVid protections between servers, clients or other staff was visible.

The mission: eat at a new restaurant each month with our friends. Can’t be somewhere we’ve been before, and can’t be a chain restaurant. For May, we had planned to go to another restaurant, but they informed us that they only do brunch on Sundays. Our calendars conflicted, and eventually we had to call an audible and ended up with a last minute reservation at Glass Monkey. Of course we had Brass Monkey by the Beastie Boys blasting on the ride to the restaurant, because we are old enough to know that song, and geeky as hell! LOL! I'm a little late writing this review, so my memory is not as fresh as it should be. I will start with the weird. We were able to get a late reservation because the restaurant was pretty much empty. Only about four tables. But for some reason, the staff seated us all in the same tiny area. The table next to us was incredibly loud, and we were happy when they eventually finished and left. The menu is odd, with small items and big items, and not overly descriptive offerings. After some clarification from our server, I chose the Handmade Pappardelle with Braised Pork & Wild Mushrooms. Well it wasn't much to look at, but it was really, really good. I would definitely go for that dish again. My friend had the same. Our wives had the Fresh B.C. Chinook Salmon w/Thai curry sauce, fragrant rice & vegetables and the Flat Iron Steak (8oz) with chimichurri sauce served with mashed potatoes & broccoli. Both were very good. For desert it was Our Classic 'Jack's Grill' Bread Pudding. I love bread pudding. If it is on the menu, I will usually be ordering it. This might just be the best bread pudding I've had. Ever. Anywhere. Show stopper. Mic drop. So, I'm thinking this either was an off night for this place (in terms of not being busy), or people just haven't discovered it yet. If you are looking for a nice night out, go to the Glass Monkey.

As usual the visit was outstanding! My braised pork cheeks were a culinary experience not to be missed! My husband's scallop and shrimp risotto was a symphony of wonderful tastes and aromas! The waiter recommended a thoroughly delightful wine to suit my very narrow range of preferences. All of this impeccable service and offerings on a very busy night that saw a Ukrainian band raising funds(along with TGM) for the Ukraine & celebrating some important birthdays! Such an accomplished restaurant with such a big heart!??

We stopped by on a whim for lunch after driving by and thinking it looked cute. My boyfriend had “the best burger he’s ever had” and I had the noodle bowl. Just wow. Highly recommend and can’t wait to try the dinner menu.

My wife and I decided to try this restaurant after hearing it come up in conversation a few times. Valentine's Day was the day. Our initial impression; the dining room was a little cramped (constant bumping into my elbows from passers by), but even so it was inviting since the staff made it their priority to make you feel tended to. I ordered the grilled Ceasar salad, which was decent, but nothing to marvel about. I do wish they would use a slightly longer dish to present it, since the leaves were hanging over the edge of the plate, and dragged along the table as the server maneuvered it into place. Not the best impression during a pandemic when everyone is fairly germ-conscious. My wife's starter was the grilled broccoli - again, very simple without anything outstanding. She then had the Chinook Salmon with a Thai Curry sauce, steamed vegetables and rice on the side. The cook on the fish was good, but overall the flavor was underwhelming. For my main, I had the seafood risotto. The portion size was moderate, but again, the flavor was pretty anemic. For a rice entre offering 5 shrimp and 3 scallops, this $35 dish would be more appropriately priced at about $25. Further to this, we each had a couple of iced teas (we don't drink). The iced teas were very good. Altogether, the meal came out to $107. In our opinion, an overpriced meal that we'll likely forget by tomorrow. I will stress however, that the staff were very professional and friendly throughout. We'd be back if they announced a new chef.

Amazing service and always delicious food! They also have a wonderful beer selection! Highly recommend your next night/dinner out here. You won't be disappointed.

You know, it is not every day you walk into a place and get the opportunity to order something that has become a me me from Kitchen Nightmares, but here you can.Grilled Lettuce! (The full episode is on youtube)Over all the food is mostly just fine, and they seem to have jacked the prices from decent value to LOL YOU ARE KIDDING ME.Service was pretty good once she realized we were not their for a timed event.

Went tonight for our 10th wedding anniversary - was packed and very loud - service was good but the noise level made it difficult to hear and carry on a conversation even sitting right next to each other. Noticed several staff were either not wearing masks or had their masks not fully covering their nose/mouth, which concerned us considering how packed the place was. Also our server kept standing really close to us which made us quite uncomfortable. We enjoyed our appetizers (cheese curds and spring rolls) and they have a large drink menu. Our large plates were mediocre at best. I had the pork cheeks special and my hubby the salmon. It was okay but nothing special. While tender I found the pork cheeks had a lot of gristle and I wasn’t personally a fan of the flavour. There was one single piece of broccoli, 3 pieces of meat and one tiny scoop of mashed potatoes and the whole thing was drowning in gravy. Hubby found the salmon okay but very bland. Overall the experience was fine - we like to support local restaurants especially in todays economy, but for the prices, portion sizes, and mediocre food, the value isn’t there for us and I don’t think we’ll bother going back in the future.

Amazing service. From the greeting at the door until we paid our bill, everyone was very friendly and attentive. They came to the table the perfect amount of times and never interrupted our evening. Food was delicious and the drink selection is huge! Will definitely go back again. Too bad its so far from my house or I might be there every weekend!
