Is it legal for this T&T store to change price/rules randomly? I purchased hot food from this location and West Edmonton Mall T&T store for three consecutive days. For the first and second days, they sold their hot food by weight, which means customers can buy either a small box or a large box of their hot food (or a half box as they like). Today when I purchased hot food at this location again, they suddenly changed their pricing rules. For some hot food, they only allow us to buy a large box, for other hot food, they sell us a small box but charged a fixed and much higher than normal price. And there's no written guidelines clarifying their price/sales rule for which food. So I can only assume that they just randomly raised price for their hot food counter. And I have no idea how much they overcharged us today. Is there any law in place to tell me f their business conduct is legal? I'm terrified and feel vulnerable at the same time.
Poor experience with their bakery. Tried to order a birthday cake and was told I had to drive all the way to pay upfront before they could make the order. I live on the other side of the city and am headed to a restaurant nearby for birthday night so out of convenience I thought it be best to order from the T&T location nearest the restaurant. Disappointingly I was informed it was a company wide policy but meanwhile I have had no issues making an order for a cake larger than 8 inches at any of their other locations over the phone without paying ahead of time. I even offered to make payment via credit card over the phone but was a no go. Guess I’m never ordering a birthday cake from this location. Terrible experience to say the least.
It has a great selection but I was looking for some help finding a certain noodle and the staff couldn't have been less helpful. I asked 3 different staff and got an indifferent response from each. The girl at checkout was much like the others and unresponsive. The ready made meals looked fantastic. Nice store but staff need a lesson/refresher in customer service...

It is a great place, with lots of food. Unfortunately, their problem is poor customer service. The staff on the floor aren't willing to assist customers find items. They act like you are bothering them when you ask them where to find an item. They respond reluctantly, with a hint of impatience and even rudeness. Then some of them merely point you in the direction of where the item is without looking at you. Of course they're never smiling, nor do they ever sound cheerful. Fortunately, most of the customers are very helpful, maybe because of our common plight? Anyways, I turn to fellow customers for assistance, and they seldom disappoint.

I absolutely love going to T&T. Not just for all the fresh fruit and veggies but also the food.There is a wide variety of veggies at reasonable prices and are fresher than some grocery stores.There is a bakery that has the most delicious custard buns! And cakes that looks as yummy as they taste.Would recommend to at least check it out once.
We went to T&T today for the good selection of produce. We bought apples, mangoes, strawberries, and Bok choy. Added bonus was the coconut buns we picked up too. We were surprised when we were able to buy buttermilk too to make our pancakes. A little busy but we have seen worse

Lots of selections of Asian cuisines and products both on the shelves, seafood sections and hot meal sections.This store carries anything Asian and Chinese cuisine. There are lots of options to select from if you love to have a taste of Asian cuisine. The place is not too crowded when I visited.
