Expensive. It's in the same as a Harvey's. You order it like fast food and they charge you like you're sitting down and eating with a server. Swiss chalet is decent but 20+ foe a piece of chicken and some dipping sauce. Forget this and go to churches or Popeyes
I went on line to preorder at the 170 street location. It would not let me place an order so I called the preorder line. I was in the middle of placing my order when I was hung up on. I called back and spoke to someone else and was p[lacing the same order to which I was told the 170 street location does not offer the item I wanted. I then called back and selected the option to speak to the store directly. After wringing for awhile it just hung up on me? Do you wonder why swiss chalet had to close so many locations
Came to this location for Father's Day we walked in and the place smelled dirty like sewage or something. We ordered our food for a group of 7 and none of our meals came out at the same time some of our table was done eating before the last meal came. Fries were soggy chicken was dry and the service was not great.
They never answer their phone! It is Seriously frustrating when they forget part of your order. It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to count items.I hate paying for stuff I did not get and then get ignored as a customer while trying to contact them.
Its split with another resturant. There was 7 of us and it seemed as tho they forgot how to serve people. Yes we need plates n silverware for all of us. Lol the food was good tho. And they staff was nice!
Our meal was incredible! Good portions, awesome food!! Order was correct in every way and the buns were soft (not like the hockey pucks we've gotten at another location)!
I have been going to this Swiss Chalet for years. Today I ordered the family pack chicken, 3 fries and 1 coal slaw. The fries were so salty. After 1 mouthful, eating the rest of the meal was impossible. I called the the restaurant’s number and it wasn’t answered. I called Swiss Chalet general number and the call was unanswered by supervision after 18 minutes. I returned the meal and spoke with the manager. He refunded the total cost, however dealing with corporate Swiss Chalet was a frustrating experience. The restaurant manager was the only individual who acted professionally. There was no compensation for mileage (12.5 km) or time wasted (1 hour).
Really disappointed this time around. We wanted to eat in and after ordering were told to sit down.Manager (?) delivered food to us with his mask below his nose. He went to leave when my husband asked him if they check vaccine passports as I am very immune compromised. He looked surprised. Covered his nose and then asked for our passports. He did take the cashier to the back, so guessing she was reminded to ask for them. Still not sold that they actually check for them here without being asked. Cheap plastic forks broke on both of us when we put them into our chicken.Staff were friendly despite not being asked for our vaccine passports.Food was good, regardless. We do love their chicken and rib combos. Just unsure, as an immune compromised person, if we will return. We usually get our food to go from here but this experience shook our confidence a bit for dining in.
The food was good but you always expect that at Swiss Chalet and service was also excellent here very courteous stuff....
This restaurant is a Swiss Chalet and Harvey's duo. The service was excellent! Workers were very friendly and happy to be at your service. The wait time was short and the food was definitely hot and fresh. I've been to this location several times and will continue to come back in the future! Definitely recommend the Crispy Chicken Sandwich and if you can handle the heat, try some of their Ghost Pepper Sauce! As always, the Swiss Chalet rotisserie chicken is always up to standard. I would also like to applaud the staff for consistent and proper cleaning and sanitization of the dine-in area and bathrooms!
