Awosme place to buy Mediterranean bakery food.. Highly recommended
Variety of products and relatively cheap pita breads! Staff is also courteous and helpful! You can get the menu on Google.
If you’re in the mood for a great takeout bite, it’s hard to beat the folded pita pies at Sunbake. You’re able to select from a wide variety of fillings for your pita, and they slide it back into their oven to get a last minute char. Valuewise, it stands as one of the best places in Edmonton. Grab a bag of fresh pitas on your way out!
Best chicken shawarma in town. Food is fantastic, don't miss out on the fatayer. Great value, great food. Can't possibly give a higher review
SUNBAKE PITA just made my day! I got some gluten friendly meat and cheese pitas and my parents and I and we loved them! They were so impressed and made me promise to take them back soon!. Such kind, patient staff and amazing food, thank you Sunbake!
Bought some meat pies. The bottom row was all burnt. Shameful that they hide their burned pies in the bottom of the tray. Quality down at this place. Will look for a better bakery next time.
The staff here are so friendly, the store is immaculate, and the food is always great. My favorite is the chicken shawarma saj but the fatayers and manakeesh are good choices too. If you enjoy nuts, their nut bar is second to none.
This place is great. The chicken shawarma and spinach pitas are really great... the fateyers (which as sold by the dozen I think for $10 ea) are also really tasty and lots of variety to choose from. Prices are very reasonable, place is super clean, staff are very friendly, so easily a 5 star for me.
I was out here in Edmonton with family over the holidays. This bakery had some really great reviews and just thought to check the place out. I had the zaatar only (no veggies on it). I ate this in my car and it just took me back to my youth/ teenage years out in the Middle East. The zaatar was just that good! If I am ever out in Edmonton again, this place will just be a ‘must go’ place for me.
